Arrival Story:
A client of mine brought me Rockee & 4ounce after she rescued them from under a building. They were 10 days old. Rockee looked semi-decent considering the circumstance (they'd been without food or water or a momma for 2 days before my client could get to them). 4ounce, however, looked pretty bad. We took them to the vet as soon as we got them and he weighed in at (you guessed it) 4 ounces (Rockee was a whopping 5 ounces). He was such a sick little guy.
Bio:
Our original plan was to get them healthy, foster them, and then put them up for adoption (yeah, right!). They stold mine & my husbands hearts.
4ounce was so touch & go for so long. At one point our vet told us that we should prepare ourselves for him not making it. He was just such a sick little kitten. However, with lots of love, lots of bottle feedings, & lots of nights spent next to their crate on the floor, he made it. And now he's a big, healthy sweet boy! (he still likes his nightly suckle time on mom's finger, though!)
