Spotted Tabby

Ori loved to sleep, to lie on his back and beg for food, and to get brushed - Hard.

Ori did not like Haley, our second cat, invading his space. He tolerated her, but stayed indifferent mostly.

Favorite Toy:
Sparkle Sticks & his Rainbow stick. He also used to proudly drag my entire bathrobe around the aparment.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Ori used to love to sleep on the bed.

Favorite Food:
He used to love anything he wasn't supposed to have. He once ate an entire maple leaf. He'd steal strawberries, only to eat the leaves. Rubber bands were also a favorite snack.

He could open any door (not latched of course). He could do backflips, and would fetch anything he could drag.

Arrival Story:
We adopted Orion from the Catshack. He had been a barn cat and was nine months old when we took him in. He mellowed out over the three years we had him and he was one of the best pets we've ever lived with. He died on May 19th, 2005 of feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. We will always love him and remember him.

Ori was a shy guy, but opened up to his immediate family. The wonder of him was that even though he lived a short while, the funny and memorable stories about him are plentiful. He had great character and was a very unique personality. He will be greatly missed.
