My 15 Minutes of fame....COTD part 2!

Wow! In all my years on Catster, I've never seen so many wonderful gifts or gotten so many well wishes and friend requests! I LOVE it!

Buddy sent me a lovely message. It was so sweet because I love his family so much and thoroughly enjoy Victor Gibbs & Cash's videos! As I checked my page tonight, imagine my suprise that I had recieved even more gifts!!!!! Foxy Truman sent me a beautiful red rose! Gorgeous Angel Amelia sent me some yummy brussel sprouts. My HK homeboy, Diego, sent me a fun ladybug to chase! I also recieved another ladybug from sweet Gimli!

And on top of all that, my sweet tonk friend, Marina sent me a gorgeous diamond ring! Girl, you know how to shop!
Purrs to all my friends who thought of me on my special day! Mom says I have lots of "thank you" p-mails to write tomorrow. MOL

I made mom and dad call me "cat of the day" all day today! I know the other cats are so jealous but OH WELL!!!!

OMC! I'm Cat of the Day!!!!!!

So usually we check our email first thing in the morning but of course, this morning we totally procrastinated. Imagine our suprise when we realized I was CAT OF THE DAY! This is such a big honor!!!! We've been on catster for years, and just always figured if it were going to happen, it already would've. I'm SO excited!!!!!

Big shout out to all my homies who sent rosettes: pretty girl Rue Rue, the always fun Ko, Taz & family, beautiful bluebirds from Ele' (representin' HK love, baby!) & Blue's gorgeous family. I will eat those birds later!

Mad props and HK love out to all the pawesome gifts I received: 2 gorgeous pink flowers to mark my special day courtesy of Sweet Stinky and Family & 1 from the always sexxxxy Mr. Imhotep! Callie Jean and PJ (goddesses of beautiful page layouts) sent over some delicious champagne. I will use that to wash down those birdies later! MOL

Last but never ever least, my 2 homegirls, Rocky Ann & Mercedes for those diamonds! Diamonds are a girls best friend! I love you 2 kitty ladies so much! XOXOXOXO

Kitties gone WILD!

So our good bud, Mercy, posted a piece a p-mail I sent her a couple of days ago. It was all about how we needed her expert advice bc this house went BANANAS when mom started the halloween costume nonsense.
Believe it or not, I was pretty agreeable for my shoot ( I went first). Rockee went next & he pretty much just sat & purred while mom took his pics (it takes quite a bit to get Rock upset). Buckie wasn't thrilled, but went with it because he knows the special Jones Family Math Equation:
Stupid Costume + Camera = Oodles of yummy treats

Poor Beanies costume head was too big for him, so mom just gave him a free pass for a while. Mom also knows better than to mess with CJ too much when it comes to dressing up (if you ever meet my mom, please ask her to do her impression of CJ in a costume, her friends find it quite entertaining).

Now, on to the DEVIL CATS FROM HADES!!!!!! All Spring had to do was stand in her special background. Her Halloween pic didn't require her to wear an outfit at all. She still refused to stand there. Screw the treats, screw the whip cream mom was giving her. She had made up her little diva mind she wasn't standing still. So mom kept moving her back. Then she BIT MOM!!!!!!!! Bit her! Bit the lady that rescued her from the streets of downtown Los Angeles. The lady that feeds her baby chicken food whenever she has to go the vet. Sadly, if you know Spring, you know that I'm the only one in the family she doesn't hit. She hits mom and dad & all our kitty brothers and sisters whenever they do something she doesn't like. She's kinda a jerk that way. The big shock, however, was 4ounce, the worlds biggest mamma's boy. He also, required no costume, just had to stand there. He didn't wanna. So he started growling at mom! At this point, mom started crying a little. Ounce is her sidekick & the two of them are thick as thieves.

You'd think mom woulda' learned her lesson and just give up. But alas, no. She plans on trying again with Spring, Bean, and maybe, juuuussst maybe a little hat she can slip on CJ while she's sleeping! MOL

Bad Day for Beanie!

Dearest Diary,
Guess what? Beanie has to go the vet today! Mom thinks he's too skinny (despite the fact he inhales food like a garbage disposal). Dad thinks mom's freaking out over nothing, but better safe than sorry. I'm just happy that I don't have to go. We all hate going to the vet! YUCK!

Have you heard of that cat who knows when people are going to die? His name is Oscar. He's super cute & possibly my new crush. Mom said we should send him some fan mail & maybe some treats. I'm intuitive, too, but I ain't THAT intuitive! MOL


I'm so totally digging on these new cool summer drink rosettes! Mom says they make her want a strawberry margarita....whatever that is.

Oh, Diary! I've neglected you yet again. Isn't that horrible of me? To go so long without writing? I make no excuses for my negligence, only beg your sweet diary forgiveness!
It's been a hot summer here in Cali & I have so much to report!
CJ got a summer haircut & thinks she's the bomb now. Prancing around here like she owns the place. HA! Everyone knows this house belongs to me. Silly girl!
Spring has taken to actually hitting mom & dad when they do something she doesn't like (like move her out of the dryer). I hate to admit it, but it is pretty funny to watch.
Rockee still wants to be boss man. He's such a ladies man, always hanging with mom when her friends or clients are around. Throwing his belly in the air for anyone to scratch. That boy has no common decency.
Ounce is still a big, fat mamma's boy.
Beanie is still obsessed with food & trying to divert mom's attention away from Ounce. He's kinda' a bully & but he doesn't try his nonsense with me because he'll get the JORDAN SMACKDOWN!
Buckie is as chill & relaxed as ever. He's pretty mellow & sweet. Mom & I think he'll grow up to be a makeup artist. He loves moms makeup so much & always sits with her when she puts it on.
As for me? Well, just take a look at those dumb fairy princess pics at the top of my page & you'll know what kind of summer I'm having. Mom loves to dress us up. All her friends are like, "you need to have a baby or something" "you're are way too into these cats".
Her friends are dumb & I will scratch them! hahahahahahahahaha
Well Diary, I'm mending my ways & promise to update you more regularly so the world can stay abreast of all my exciting activities. I feel as though I owe that to society....wouldn't you agree?

Almost Halloween!

Dearest Diary Darling,
Can you believe it's almost Halloween again? I can't either! Where, oh where, does the time go? Do you like my Halloween pic? I wore the diamond choker, but mom photoshopped in my tiara. There's no way I woulda' sat still for that!

Every year, we're super impressed with our good friend, Mercedes, & her whole families super cool holiday pics. Mom wishes she could get us to hold still like that. Mom says we all have bad "boundries" & if we were human kids instead of furkids, people would cringe at the sight of us coming. She always says, "Kitty throwing a temper tantrum = super cute. Human child throwing temper tantrum = ridiculously aggravating." Whatever! Rules & restrictions are for wussies! HA!

I also wanna' give a big shout out the homies @ Catster HQ for coming up with these cool pumpkins for October. Those rock! I love them! Me & my family have been giving them away like crazy. While I'm on the subject of things I love....mom & I both agree that Meerkat Manor is the best show on tv right now. I love the fact that Meerkats have an alpha female. Right on!

So Sorry!

Diary, you sweet girl, you!
So sorry I've neglected you yet again! I beg your forgiveness! Things here in this house can get pretty nutty with the 6 cats & 2 humans I have to keep in line all the time.

So, what's new, you ask! I'll tell you! First & formost, CJ & I are both 6 years old now. Can you even believe it? Where, oh where, did the time go? It seem like only yesterday CJ & I were little kittens playing in our old apartment.
Now, we're in our own house surrounded by 5 more cats! Wow.

In other kitty news, those freaking mice never did come out of the walls. Want my opinion? They're scared! They've probably heard what an expert hunter I am & know to not cross MY path! HA!

Last but not least, last month, this lady showed up at our house with all these gadgets. Mom said this lady was a "photographer" & was going to take all our pictures. It was ok, I suppose. I didn't really feel like having my picture taken so the lady had to chase me down a few times. I do look lovely in my new pics, though, don't you think? I don't think I look 6 at all! Not a day over 3, I'd say....(even though it was a soft focus lens....)

Update!

Dearest Diary Darling,

So...every night we can hear the mice in the walls. Mom & dad finally called an exterminator to check it out. Mom refused to let them set traps for the mice because she thinks that's cruel. So the exterminator has to find where they're coming in at & then he's going to block that area.

Today mom is spending a kitty day with us! We're going to make some salmon, play with all our toys & cuddle. I love days like today. She owes us because yesterday she worked & then her & dad had a "date night" & they didn't come home till midnight!!! THE NERVE! I showed them, though. I pouted, pouted, pouted!

Sorry this entry is so short, Rockee just told me there are some bunnies in the backyard & I have to go stare them down.

I am a Vicious Predator!

Dear Diary Dearest,
You are not gonna' believe this. Remember last Halloween we had a couple mice in the house? If you recall, I was the only cat who would actually KILL the mice, everyone else just toyed with them & left the dirtywork to me.

Weeellll, guess what? They're back! Mom & dad have been hearing them in the walls. So far, they haven't actually seen anything, but you can hear something. It's making us cats NUTS. We've adjusted our schedule accordingly & now all the felines in this house are sleeping all day & hunting all night.

I feel so ALIVE!

I know it's not very lady like to hunt & kill mice. But the urge is overwhelming, I'm telling you.
I'll keep you posted........

I'm a Caster Pick!

Diary Dear,
Well, you & I have hit the big time. We're a Catster Diary Pick for today! I'm a Diary Diva! How cool is that? I'm very honored that catster thought my diary was good enough for a Daily Pick! (ok, Diary, between me & you, how could they NOT pick me? I AM pretty fabulous!)

In other news, the little hummingbird mamma had her baby last week. Mom says the baby is so, so tiny & cute & the mamma is always fussing around her nest. Diary, if I could just get outside, just for a minute, I'd have the yummiest hummingbird lunch ever. Oh, well.....such is life in captivity.

We got a new Hello Kitty play tent. I look so beautiful in it. I know this because mom & dad tell me all the time. Mom should take pictures of me in my new tent for my catster page! Rockee says the tent is for us all to share, but Rockee can shove it! HA!

This is TORTURE!

Dearest Diary Darling!
You are simply not going to believe this. Turns out there is a little hummingbird who's nested in our front yard. Mom is obsessed with watching over her & not letting anyone or animal bother her. Mom calls her "little mamma".
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? So what I'm saying is there is a TASTY LITTLE BIRD in my front yard & mom won't let me out there to get it! Heck, she won't even grab it for me & bring it in to the house so I can have fun with it in the house. She is so mean.....I see many hairballs & my famous fake asthma attacks in HER future! (what? I've never told you about my faked asthma attacks? hahaha! We shall save THAT story for another day!)
Anyway, I just had to vent. Other than that, things are going well. I'm still as beautiful, smart, sassy, alluring & spoiled as ever.

1. sleep till 10ish in mom's closet where no other cats can bother me
2. grunt my disaproval @ mom if she tries to turn on closet light
3. wake up, stretch, eat, walk around the house like I'm hot stuff
4. back to bed!
5. wake up, find Spring & stare @ her for aprox. 30 seconds & then break into a chase
6. scream @ dad. Check Caster mail & forums to see what's shakin'
7. nap
8. wake up, eat, see what mom's doing
9. check birds in backyard, get bird update from Rockee who naps by patio door, watch birds & scowl @ them dissaprovingly
10. eat again
11. bully 4ounce off window perch, nap
12. cuddle with mom or dad, gaze @ them lovingly, purr, nap
13. wake up, scream @ whoever's around until they stop what they're doing & stare @ me, then purr
14. eat,daily group wrestlemania session proceeded by group nap on heating pad w/ Rock, Spring, Ounce, Buckie
15. go into mom's studio & look @ her clients like they're crazy, wait for them to say how beautiful I am, then leave room
16. nap w/ Rockee
17. eat again, find mom or dad & sit on them
18. Time for bed!
It's an exhausting schedule, isn't it? No wonder I'm so stressed out all the time.....

I'm SO OVER it!

Dear Diary Darling Dearest,

I am SO OVER mom taking Easter pics of us. Guess what, lady? We don't want to pose on cue....we're cats! I know she thinks this is "cute", but puh-lease! The only good thing about our photo shoot was all those plastic eggs. Those things are pretty cool. Mom should really get a hobby or something....

I am also SO OVER dad going to work. Why can't he just stay home all day & look at me? Mom works from home, but I want him home, too! That way, they can just stare at me all day long! Wouldn't that be great? I yell @ dad everytime he gets ready to leave the house. He always says, "Jordan, I will be right back". WHATEVER! He needs to stay with ME!

I tackled Beanie today for no reason & it was fun. Then I chased Spring all around the house. It's good to be Queen......

Spring Already?

Diary Darling,
I know, I know....it's been way too long! However, I am mending my ways & am recommitted to keeping you current, dearest diary. Please forgive me of my neglagence!

I guess the biggest news to report is that my boyfriend, Shess, has been MIA for quite some time. He just simply stopped writing. It's been months! Since around Halloween 05. Mom said perhaps I should move on & just enjoy being a single girl. Maybe she's right. I still send Shess rosettes & notes, but I never hear back.

Since writing to you last, we have also had 2 new additions to the Jones House. Beanie & Buckie. They came to live with us around Thanksgiving. At first, I didn't care for them at all, but they have very good feline manners & found there place in the house soon enough. Beanie is a bit of a momma's boy, so he & Ounce have had there fair share of issues. I don't get involved. That's boy stuff!

The most interesting thing is Rockee became my sidekick once the new boys got here. I'm not sure why, but he started sleeping with me & hanging out with me more than ever. I guess it's ok. He's a good guy. A little bit of a dominant personality, but that's the pot calling the kettle black, huh? HA!

Our hawk is still in the backyard. His name is Truman (after Truman Capote). He gets bigger all the time & even though I would never want to meet him in person, he sure is fun to watch! Mom doesn't like it when he gets a smaller bird in his mouth, but we love to watch it. I guess maybe we're living vicariously through Tru!

Well, that about updates you on the major events. Like I said, I'm going to start keeping a better log of my life & activities. I owe that to the public, don't you think?

Halloween Costumes are not fun!

Oh, Diary!
I have good news & bad news to report.
First, the good news: we had shrimp today! Normally, we just have sushi on Sundays, but mom brought home shrimp. It was grilled & quite tasty! I may have a new favorite food...We all loved it except 4ounce. He is so wierd. Half the time he doesn't even eat his sushi. Mom tries to coax him into it. It's sickening to watch. I've told you before, dearest diary, what a big, fat, mamma's boy he is! It's disgusting.
The bad news is that mom is on that halloween costume kick again. Of course mommies little precious man, 4ounce, is all for it. He just wears his little hat. Dumb boy! We're cats, for the love of God! I don't want to wear a halloween costume! They bug me. They are not comfortable. I like being nude! Nude, nude, nude!!! I am not above scratching mom & she knows this. Dad is on my side, he told me, "Binx, you don't have to do anything you don't want to. You're mom is just crazy sometimes."
You can say that again, dad!
That's all for now, diary darling! Spring & I are going to take a nap on our window perch that looks out onto the street. It's fun on Sundays because there are a lot of kids out there & they are fascinating to watch! However, I much prefer them outside, I don't want any in my house or anything, that's just craziness! Mom says kids are very loud & like to pick kitties up. One of those little giants better never come near me! I've got claws & am not afraid to use them!

Fall is HERE!

Dear Diary,
It's September & this is my favorite time of year. The weather gets cooler & mom leaves the windows open all day. I can listen to the birds & squirrels in the backyard.
This is also when mom & dad get out all of our Halloween decorations. I love holiday decoration time! So much to smell & investigate. Mom always puts a bowl full of lollipops out on the kitchen island for a month or so before halloween. I love that because lollipops make great toys! They are easy to bat around & when you lose one under the stove, you just go get another one. It's great! We must have an endless supply of them.
What I'm not too happy about is 4ounce! Mom & dad keep making a big deal about him being there "halloween cat". Just because he's all black! Big freaking deal! They keep saying, "oohh, look 4ounce, this decoration has a black kitty on it just like you". And you know, he just loves that. He is such a momma's boy, it's ridiculous. He'll roll around like "look at me, I'm the cute black kitty"! He'll never get a girlfriend, of this I am certain. And now mom got him a little witch's hat for halloween & said that she's going to use his picture for our Halloween cards this year! WHAT?!?!?!?! She's lost it! She told me not to be mad, because I got to be the Valentine kitty this year. Diary, I was so upset by all the attention they were giving him, I beat him up. I'm not proud, diary. But I needed to get the attention back on me & decided this was the quickest way to do it.
We need to get the focus back where it belongs in this house! And of course, the focus belongs ON ME ONLY!

My Famous Boyfriend!

Dear Diary,
Shess has diary of the day! Can you believe it? I am so proud of him! I sent him an email saying how great that was. He's the best boyfriend a girl could ever want.
Mom & dad got a new chenille throw for the bedroom yesterday. That thing is so comfortable! It's soft & the perfect place for all my naps! I slept on it for hours yesterday. The only problem was Spring kept trying to cuddle with me. I let her for a little while, but sometimes I need to do my own thing! I mean, hello! I am going to be five this month! Geez...
Last night was sushi sunday! We had tuna sashimi. It is so good. I don't know why we can't have sushi every night. Mom & dad are cheap bastards! (I'm just kidding, mom!) We always get a little bit of what mom & dad make for dinner anyway. The vet said not to do this, but come on! We eat really healthy & organic. A little people food never hurt anybody! I am a little "thick", but my boyfriend likes me that way! Curves are in.

Whatta' Day!

Dear Diary,
I have so much to write about in my new diary! I am so happy to finally have an outlet to express all that I'm feeling!

Spring & 4ounce kept trying to sabatoge my photo shoot. It's hard being an older sister sometimes. You have to keep those youngsters in line or they get completely out of hand.
Well, diary dearest, I must be going right now because tonight is our catnip night! I DO love Saturday nights in this house. We get crazy with the catnip! I wish Shess could be here to share my catnip...
