Arrival Story: He cane to us as a 8 week old kitten, a gift from a friend, he adored the two older cats here, and became our Old Amy's nurse, cleaned her face and eyes several times a day while she purred up a storm. When Amy died we got Maggie May when Canoe was 10 months old, they bonded totally, he acted like we got her for him. They were eachother's shadows for 13 years. He crossed the rainbow bridge in his Mommy's arms with his sweet little head tucked under her arm next to her heart. He looked so good after transfusions and IV I just wanted to take him back home, but he was suffering and the Vets said there was no hope. I had promised him that Mommy would never let anything hurt him, I couldn't break that promise.

Bio: His Mom was a Tortie Point Siamese, his Dad a Seal Point. They both had wonderful personalities and passed them on to him, I never had a cat that so many people cherished and adored and could call their friend. He died at age 13 1/2 from an aggressive form of liver cancer, everyone here had massive broken hearts! He was a true character, he greeted everyone coming into our home with a purr and a jump up on their lap, he loved to be carried around in your arms with his front paws resting on your shoulder, in fact he hated to be put back down on the floor, he simply loved people so much. In all his years he never bit, scratched, hissed or growled at anyone, just the sweetest little cat being I've ever known. He didn't even extend his claws in play, that's how extremely good natured and gentle he was.
