indoors Arrival Story: We were looking for siblings to add to our family after loosing a member and he and his brother were staying at a local vet thru the local humane society. They called the vet and they stayed open late so we could meet the boys. We fell in love at first sight. I picked up this little orange furball who was looking at me very intently and he instantly grabbed my glasses and pulled them off my face! Bio: He was named Killian after Killian's Irish Red beer since he was a "redhead." We later found out it meant little warrior and that totally suited him! He was diagnosed diabetic on May 14, 2005 and we had him off insulin and diet controlled by July 12, 2005. Unfortunately he's been back on insulin for several months now and will probably continue to need it. He's a very remarkable guy! He likes to sleep next to my pillow with his head in my hand or lying on my pillow. He also likes to sleep "spoon style" under the covers snuggled up to me.
