Arrival Story:
"We solemly swear we are never getting another cat". Yeah, right. So hubby and I were out doing our normal shopping, laundry day routine and remembered that we were supposed to buy a new litter box and kept forgetting all day even though we were at the supermarket and right near Petco too. So we stopped at a small pet food/supply shop and as we walked up to the front door, there it was. A cage with 3 kittens in the cage, all looking adorable. There were 2 black and 1 black and white. We had been talking about a black kitten for months but never came across one so gave up on the idea. (We have 7 cats already) Well the one black kitten was running around the cage like a maniac and came right up to us when we put our faces up to the cage. My husband and I looked at each other and he pointed to the dreaded sign on the cage.... FREE KITTENS. LOL Well, there ya have it, he already had his first round of shots and was a poor little orphan from Fire Island (They have a big problem over there with people having "seasonal pets".) Now he is our new baby, and we have to reassure Mojo daily that he's really the baby! LOL shhhh don't tell Mojo he's not! I see Mojo and Sirius will fast become great friends, they already cuddle up on the couch and we've only had Sirius for a few days.

In case you were wondering, yes Sirius Black is from Harry Potter. I know it's a dog's name, but we love that name!
