Arrival Story:
Its a boring story, really. I found a kitten and brought him home - he was probably about 9 weeks old at the time. He loved to play with Cinder, who was the same age as him, but over the years he has loved - and in some cases, lost - many animal companions who he loved very much.

Bio:
* Tyler Died in October, 2006, at the age of 16 1/2 years old. He is very missed. Tyler is 16 years old. He is the oldest cat I have ever had. His whole life he has been perfectly healthy, except for one bad reaction to a combo vaccine when he was a year old. He almost died from that experience. But since then he was healthy, with only a hiatal hernia to slow him down. Until about a year ago, when he began losing weight. In the past 2 years he has dropped about 6 pounds - from 14 pounds down to 8 pounds. His blood tests show a bit of kidney function decline, but other than that, everything else looks good. So, we just keep hoping that the weight loss doesn't mean anything serious is going on. And we just keep loving him and enjoying every day we have been blessed - 16 years and counting.....and Tyler's loving every minute.
