Dolores and her siblings were at that "awkward age"--not really kittens anymore, but not grown-up cats either---which according to H.A.P.P.E. (the rescue org.) decreased their chances of being adopted. I think it's very sad that the average Joes out there only want cute little kittens and often bypass the older cats, who need stable and loving homes every bit as much. OK, I'll get off my soapbox now!
