Arrival Story:
We were babysitting my Aunt and Uncle's cat Atticus and my mom heard a kitty cry but did not think it was Atticus. So she looked outside and there was Oliver sitting in the yard. She tried to give him food but he ran away. A few hours later we were about to leave and my mom was shutting the door and there he was sitting in the yard again. This time I went out to give him food and my mom came up from behind and grabbed him up. Now he is ours!

A few weeks ago, it was sunny and warm, and my people let me go outside for a little bit. And, they will leave the door open and put a chair by it so I can sit and watch what's going on outside. But now I'm trying to figure out why it had to get so cold because now I can't go out :( Hurry and get here spring!

Is it spring yet?

I love to hear the birds in the morning now. I can't find them, but I know they're outside somewhere. And I really like the sunbeams that come into my house. Except when I'm trying to sleep, it's hard trying to find a dark place in the middle of the day. But I did! But my people are doing everything they can think of to keep me from it :( I found out that the basement is NOT a scary place, but a place full of adventures just waiting to be found. I figured out how to open the door all by myself. Now they keep it barricaded. But I'm a smart kitty, I'm not going to quit trying!

I know that on my ratings up above it says I'm not very vocal, but that is only because I choose when I use my meow. Like today we went to my Grandma's house and everyone was missing. It was scary because her house is pretty big. So I meowed a couple times and in came my people. The lesson here is that if you want to be heard you've got to use your voice. -Oliver Miles
