Everybirdy Loves Lew

When I first came here my mamasita told me that "Everybody loves Lew". It turned out it's true, no person, has ever been able to ignore me if I want attention. They all think I'm fantastic and want to touch me. They comment on my fabulousness. Then they brought home the C-Monster (aka Puff Doggy). So mom told me that even every doggy loves me. Seems to be true. I can't seem to shake him. He's at my beck and call, he just won't let a cat nap. Now we can add birdy to the list of everything that loves me. Who would've thought? I'm Most Wanted on the Crow's list and certainly haven't ever met a sparrow that hung around me. But a certain Bluebird has taken a fancy to me. It's ruining my backyard life. I can't go outside in the daylight without hearing "Squak, Squak". There he is, in the bush, in the tree, on the fence post. "Squak, Squak". I tried to take a walk with the C-Dizzle, but I got as far as a rhodi in the neighbors yard when I hear "Squak, Squak". So I tried to evade him by hiding in the rhodi. But he actually sat on the ground right by the bush and kept on squaking. He announces my whereabouts to the world! How's a cat supposed to hunt with that kind of following? This celebrity thing has gone to far. The birdirazzo is endangering me. There should be a law!

Hippos

Sometimes my mamasita just doesn't get how hungry I am! Like when I first come in in the morning. Hello! I've been up since 4am. Don't you remember letting me out? Of course I'm hungry now that its two hours later! She makes me explain and explain why I'm so hungry. Today, I told her that a hungry hippo had been chasing me all morning and that was enough to make anyone hungry. That seemed to work pretty good. Yesterday I told her that I was in a circus and worked really hard. She seemed to be buying it until I mentioned hard work, so I had to wait. But later she did share some bacon with me!
One time I was so hungry I tried to take a bite out of her rear areas! She has really thick skin. She thought it was funny.

The Phone Call

Mamasita just called. Papa Scott is here working on the computer and I'm relaxing on the bed. Papa Scott held the phone to my ear so I could hear her voice. She told me to get up, but I just rolled over and purred for her instead. I can't wait for her to get home and feed me. They bought new food last night, lots of fishy flavors... mmmmmh my fav.

Mamasita's Presence

Good news, Mamasita and Papa Scott have returned. For all the ridiculous worrying they do about me coming back each night you think they would have warned me they weren't coming back for 8 days! I was so worried it was all I could do to eat and sleep!
For a whole week this girl came over and pretended to be my family, but she doesn't know how to give morning kisses the right way. Mamasita stands behind me while I sit on the stool and bends over me and I reach up and bump her head with my nose. She seems to like it a lot.
They've done something strange though. They changed the color of their skin. Who ever heard of something so ridiculous? Papa Scott looks rather similar to a strawberry and Mamasita looks likes she needs a good scrubbing her skin is so dark. I tried licking it off, but apparently my tongue isn't even rough enough.
I was so mad that they left me that when they came home that night I stayed outside all night and came home in the morning, just to make them wait on me. Mamasita told me that I missed out on a fish opportunity. When they got home they went to feed the fish and the Bala Shark jumped out of the tank onto the table. Easy dinner, but I wasn't there to help them catch it. That will teach me.

This cloudy day

Papa Scott is home! He doesn't leave and come back like normal. Now when I go to get a 'drink' from the fishtank he's there giving me his scarey voice. He leaves his tissues everywhere! Why doesn't he just lick his nose?
So I've decided I'd like my own pet. Mamasita says it has to be smaller than me but something that I can't eat. So I decided a lobster would be perfect! I will always be interested, but it can snap its pinchers at my paws if it gets irritated. I told mamasita we'd keep it in the bathtub and call it Bobster the Lobster. She said she'd get back to me.
On the upside, my fishing may get easier in the near future. I overheard plans for a tranquility pool with fish in the backyard. Maybe they'll build a catsized dock for me.
