Arrival Story:
After we lost Falasha we *needed* another black cat. So why not two black cats? But my mother, who lived here back then, would never go for two new kitties, so we had an idea... We had to find two tiny little black kitties that looked exactly the same, and we would show her only one at a time! By the time she realized there were two of them it would be too late! ---------- We found Deco and Wicca abandoned in front of a local pet shop. Brought them home, and our plan was going well untill we actually took one of them to show Mother... the other would start yelling! So our ingenious idea worked for about a couple hours. It was just as well, because as soon as they started gaining some weight they became totally different. Deco grew a real ugly greyish undercoat and long straight black and brown coat, while Wicca got an even black coat.

Bio:
Deco is our first really feisty cat. We have lots of fun teasing him, but we usually wind up bleeding. On the other hand, he is by far the neediest of them all. When he wants to be cuddled he runs towards you meowing like he's saying "quick, please, pet me now or I'll die!". ---------- At age 2, he vanished. He returned suddenly, almost two weeks later, skinny, tanned and yelling for food. He has been more aware of the comforts of home ever since! ;-)
