On her chair, in the closet, in the window

Favorite Food:
Wet food, treats, anything sprinkled with catnip

She came when I whistled and traveled very well in a car [she NEVER had to be placed in a carrier], she adapted well to new situations

Arrival Story:
A friend of mine had told me her cat had "accidentally" gotten pregnant and they were going to feed the kittens to a snake. I offered to take one if she'd promise not to. She ended up finding homes for them all and Osiris ended up being the last girl (she had a sister and they both were calico just like momma, and two brothers, orange and grey) but Osiris ended up being the most beautiful cat I've ever seen! [I heard it from other people too :-)]

Osiris was my buddy. I was living in SLC, UT at the time far away from my family and she became my family. She moved with me a few times and did so well in the car! I loved Osiris so much even though I only got to be with her for a little over a year and a half. When we were living with my parents they had a dog door for their two dogs and she finally [to my dismay] figured out how to use after we'd lived there for a few months. One day in December of 2001 nobody had seen her all day. I finally found her in some bushes down the street and she cried like I'd never heard before! I took her to the vet (barefoot and without a cat carrier) and was told she'd probably been hit by a car and was paralyzed. She wasn't doing well and probably wouldn't live. So I had her put down. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. With the help of my dad we buried her but I wished I'd had her cremated so I could take her with me everywhere.
