Arrival Story:
We adopted him from the owner of a local inn/tavern. The proprietor of this establishment has a female cat that regularly provides kittens for adoption by patrons. After several of bartender Karen's very tasty Long Island Ice Teas one evening, we were persuaded to adopt Mr. Chops, at that time very small, thought to be female, and named Barfly because he was content to nap atop the bar!
Bio:
This cat is evil to his evil core. He loves to bite. He is not a mean cat at all, but when he wants attention, he will bite to get it. For example, he thinks food should be provided the very moment we wake up in the morning. So he will come into bed with me and proceed to purr, climb all over me, act sweet, and then. . . .BITE! Nose, elbows, toes, any part he can get. I suppose I should break him of this habit, but I do find it strangely endearing. His name, Mr. Chops, came about because of this habit of biting and also stealing food.
