My mommy misses me so much. I've been at the Bridge now for over 2 years. I can't believe it and neither can she. She cries over me far too often for my comfort. I have been so busy with my guardian angel duties that I fear I have neglected my poor mommy.
So yesterday, I planted a message from me to her under the fridge. Luckily, she and daddy had their kitchen floor remodeled yesterday and found my little offering. Mommy stooped to pick the pieces up and Daddy looked on sadly. They talked about how very much they miss me. But I hope my mommy knew that it was a sign to her that I am so happy although I miss her and that I wait for her and daddy.
I have composed a song for them:

The message I sent from me to you
It's under the fridge!
I'll give you that clue!
Milk rings, twist ties, all sorts of treasures!
All interesting items
For with my nest to feather!
I've sent them to you

I will always be your Cougar
And I feel your tears
I know you can't see me
But please do know
That I am with you always
And I love you so

Mommy put all of my little treasures into a baggie and put them in a safe place. I will try to visit her in her dreams as well. It's been a very long time since I did that. My sister Buffy is very good at dream-visiting with Mommy. She does it all the time. I will have to ask her for some pointers.

O Navin,
What a lovely song you composed for your folks!
It's wonderful that you can send messages right where your mom and dad will find them, and just when they need them the most. You are one of the most inspiring Catsters ever!

How sweet of you to leave gifts for your parents! When I passed on, Mommy found my second favorite toy, a small hard-plastic strawberry I loved to knock around. Mom finds it every now & then. She picks it up and places it in another spot and then weeks later, notices that it's gone again. That's because I come down and play with it late at night or when she's away at work! And then eventually she finds it again and thinks of me. :)

However, since I left for the Bridge, she has never been able to find my favorite toy - "eggie", the hard-plastic egg I absolutely loved! That's because I took it with me! MOL!

Oh, Navin, I know your mommy misses you. You're still a sweet boy leaving gifts for your mommy. I miss your adventures. My mommy says I look a little like you, I'm 5 years old she always says I look like you. I hope you're having a wonderful time at the Bridge. Me and my mommy will never forget you, sweetie.

That put tears in my Mom's eyes... That's such a dear and sweet pile of treasures! Captain Morgan has a very similar stash under the couch... Hugs and love and purrs to you and your family, Navin! Such a great guy.
