Look What's Under the Fridge!

My mommy misses me so much. I've been at the Bridge now for over 2 years. I can't believe it and neither can she. She cries over me far too often for my comfort. I have been so busy with my guardian angel duties that I fear I have neglected my poor mommy.
So yesterday, I planted a message from me to her under the fridge. Luckily, she and daddy had their kitchen floor remodeled yesterday and found my little offering. Mommy stooped to pick the pieces up and Daddy looked on sadly. They talked about how very much they miss me. But I hope my mommy knew that it was a sign to her that I am so happy although I miss her and that I wait for her and daddy.
I have composed a song for them:

Mommy put all of my little treasures into a baggie and put them in a safe place. I will try to visit her in her dreams as well. It's been a very long time since I did that. My sister Buffy is very good at dream-visiting with Mommy. She does it all the time. I will have to ask her for some pointers.

Happy Easter!!!!

I can't believe that I've been here at the Bridge for 2 Easters. This makes my mommy and daddy so sad, but I would like to take this opportunity to reassure them and to reassure the parents of everybuddy who has gone to the Bridge.
You see, here at the Bridge, Easter is such a big deal. We all get together and play our part in helping the Easter Bunny work his mojo! Some of us decorate eggs, some trim baskets, some even help parents pick out Easter clothes for their children!
Many of us though are hard at work helping the flower fairies, the bees and the birds get their spring on. You would be surprised to know how much work and effort goes into orchestrating a beautiful Easter each year.
Now I know that we are not all on the same continent, state or climate. But I will ask each and every one of you on Easter morning, to get up and find something of unbelievable beauty. I guarantee it will not take you long.
So to the parents of fur kiddos who are missing their babies who have gone to the Bridge, I would like to give you a Cougar kiss and I would like to whisper in you ears and tell you that we are ALL fine here. We are happy and healthy and awaiting our reunion with you.

The Christmas Box and a Cougar song for ME!

Well, it has been a very long time since I have written and I apologize! I have been so busy! I know, I always say that, but it is true. I finished overseeing the special delivery of my gift to my sister Trinity. Baby Lulu has arrived and is fitting in very nicely with my family. Trinity loves her. She calls her "Issy" which loosely translated, means "Sissy".
Even with all this holiday bliss, my family has had a hard time as they miss me terribly. If only they knew how often I was there! Jonas sees me the most. Mommy has been wondering why Jonas runs up and down the hall muttering to himself and he and Sue have spent an inordinate amount of time under the Christmas tree which is unusual for them. But they see me! Even if Mommy can't, I am heartened to know that someone knows I'm there.
Ok, onto the Christmas Box. Wednesday a mysterious package arrived from my best friend Chrissy Whitesocks and her mommy. The box was stuffed with toys for all of my siblings and the best part of all was that Chrissy had written a Cougar song for ME! So without further ado, here is Chrissy's beautiful song:

Navin's been busy, yes he has!
Flying about to and fro
So he handed me a Christmas list
And off to the store I go

Treats and toys for his brothers & sisters
Navin wished for, tall and proud
And the best gift of all for everyone home
Was Baby LuLu , hiding under a cloud

He checked her over from tip to tail

The happiest Cougar ever!

Yesterday I became the Happiest Cougar Ever.

Agreed to be my cougar bride! For this momentous occasion, I have composed a Cougar song: Ahem......

Excuse me, I have an announcement to make
I've finally had the courage to take
A chance and ask my love Chelsea to be
My cougar bride for all eternity.
For now, we will have each other's hearts
because temporarily we are apart
But in her dreams I visit her
You can tell by how she purrs
Even when she is fast asleep
I know for me, her heart she keeps
And when here at the Bridge she safely arrives,
You will know I'm bursting with pride
To have a lady like Chelsea

What a lucky Cougar I will be!
No more will I say "Woe is me!"

We will have so much furn
We will toast our tums in the sun
and catch glowing dragonflies and assorted bugs
Then we will lay in the grass and hug

Jungle Love

In the jungle
The mighty jungle
Comes the Cougar crew
Riding on assorted beasties
We all take in the view!
To the right we see a river
with lots of crocodiles in it
This trip is not for the faint of heart...
Let's stop and rest a minute!
To the left what do we see?
Many monkeys in the trees!
Up ahead we hear a shout....
There are wildebeests about!
Onward onward our beasties tread
What is that looming up ahead?
Elephants are waving their trunks
To greet us Buds and warn us of
The SKUNKS!
Quickly Buds! Let's turn around!
and make our way to safer ground!
Of our safety I must think
and get us all home without a stink!

What a fabulous Safari this was! There were so many Buds! Mr. Pink and Mr. Sam rode on zebras! Taylor rode an elephant! Tick and Julie rode an Elefink (which is the same as an elephant, only pink!....their elefink loved them because they kept giving her chicken temptations!). Chrissy stayed home and hung out with her mom, so Fubar her sibling came along and rode a Wallaby with Cleopatra. Cleopatra was a little frightened at first and spent some time in her Wallaby's pouch. It's okay Cleopatra! Sparkman did his trademark back flips on a hippo! Amelia and Bill rode a majestic white horse! Baby rode with Merlin and Muffin in a cart pulled by a Puffin! Micah, Jake and Lucky Boo hitched a ride on a giraffe! Lucky and Toca snuggled on a giraffe too! Lucky's entire family came along: Sin, Morgan, Ripple, Rocky, Cassie, Velvet, Stoney, Rhyno, Charles, Blaze and Cole all rode on Rhinos. Abigail, Lewis, Spencer and Maxwell rode on matching reindeers! Ducky, Gizzie and Specky brought their fashion sense along and rode on matching Zebras! Gimme, Ambrogino, and Ele' all rode in a carriage pulled by a herd of blue Koalas! Vincent and Tigress had a hot date on what else? A Tiger!! Hugo and Tini had a Polar Bear all to themselves! Snowy and Martin held paws and a majestic moose! Sagan watched over his little sister Margaret as they hopped aboard a fabulous polka-dotted Cheetah! Ginger and Anne relaxed on a beautiful Bison! Chester brought TUNA SANDWICHES and he and Captain Morgan and Moose brought up the rear on an enormous Giant Tortoise!
AND......I have to say that this Safari was a first date for Chelsea and I! We had so much fun! We held paws and I gave her a Cougar kiss....just one! I was a perfect gentleman Coug! Guess what we rode? A LION!!!!
Oh my Gosh! I HOPE I didn't forget anyone? I can't wait until we have another trip!

A Cougar in Love

Well,
The secret is finally out. It is official. I am not the playa Coug that I have been professing to be for so long. For I am in love! My heart belongs to Chelsea. Chelsea is so wonderful. She has a little puppy sister named Maddie who I am a guardian angel to. Chelsea is a beautiful, wide-eyed little black and white lady.

6. I am an accomplished singer. I sing Cougar songs and usually throw in a little soft shoe dancing to seal the deal!
7. I brought my mom a bag of potatoes for mother's day last year. She was in bed and I thought she might like breakfast!
