Well, I'm now down to 22lbs. I'm wasting away! I couldn't stop throwing up for a while about six months ago, and so Mom took me in and it turns out I have irritable vowel syndrome, or something. So they put me on special food, which is ok, I like it, but they don't give me nearly enough of it! I like being able to run and jump more, though.

I know I haven't updated this in ages, but I've been busy. I had some trouble earlier this year - I couldn't hold my food down. It was horrible! My mom took me to the scary vet place, and they had to keep me and I had a tube in my leg and everything - it kinda sucked. But I'm doing better. They said I have a condition called irritable bowel, and I have to have special food, and a pill. Plus I had to lose the weight. So now I'm down to under 25 pounds, and the vet says maybe 4 or 5 more pounds to go. They're starving me! But I can fit in Mom's lap now, mostly, and I can get up on the dresser again, so that's kinda cool. And the vet guy says we can try pills only every third day now - he says I'm on pills for life, but maybe only once a week - I sure hope - I hate taking pills!

Mom says that if I want to have treats I'm going to have to deal with less of my normal food.
She says I'm never going to stop begging for treats, since 8 months of no treats hasn't slowed me down, so she better figure a way to work them in.
I thought she was going to add them to my daily ration, not replace some of it!
She says that since my main treat is my kitty vitamin, I'm still getting all the calories and nutrients I need with less food, so I better just get used to it because I have to lose this weight.
I am NOT happy!
