Arrival Story:
Checkers is actually my moms cat but she asked me to post her here. she was babysitting checkers for a friend at work and the woman never came to get her back and never wanted her back. she had big rotten dogs that scared poor checkers to death. checkers is so much happier now!

Bio:
Checkers is an adorable pure bred cat with a remarkable personality. she hid from everyone until she got to know us, now she does kitty rainbows to reach hands to be patted, and her mews sound like a cluster of baby chicks all peeping at once. her curly hair is very soft, and she is quite round. she nibbles and licks as she rubs her face all over. she has never NOT been in the mood for cuddles. shes declawed so its pathetically adorable when she claws on things, and she rubs on the carpet all the time when she is hyper. a sweet little cat overall.

Today we got the sad news that checkers has cancer. the Vet told us they knew since November. They never told us, so we couldn't know what was wrong with checkies.

She's not going to be around much longer.
