Arrival Story:
I was just looking through petfinder pictures, when I noticed Angie's picture because she looked so much Sierra- one of my other cats. As I read the write-up - I saw that she had been dropped of f at a "kill shelter" by the family of her previous owner (who had either passed on or went into a nursing home). Angie was 5 years old at the time. I called up and inquired, and of course ended up adopting her- how could I resist? She is the sweetest cat - so gentle, and affectionate. If one of her kitty siblings get accidently shut in a closet, or one of the human kids in the house cries - she is right there pacing up and down until she knows all is well. She is like a little guardian angel looking out for everyone. She always grooms all of the other cats and is loved by her kitty brothers and sisters. She also loves to nibble on my earrings - a pretty startling way to be woken up - when she wants to be petted :-) Such an affectionate sweet girl.

My dearest Angie,

There is something so very special about you - sometimes I feel you are like an Angel here on earth looking out for us. You alway seem to know when someone in the family needs a kitty to love - and you quietly come up with your soulful eyes to see why. Thank you for sleeping at the foot of the youngest son's bed every night - it is always a comfort to know you are there.
