Arrival Story:
I came to live with my mom and dad and two human brothers and five kitty sisters when my mom saw me at the neighbor;s house and fell in love.

Bio:
The neighbor told my mom that I was a girl and nobody thought about looking. I grew up with my five older female kitty sisters (fortunately, mom says, they're all fixed). Every body thought I was a girl too and they called me Cookie because they said I looked like cookies and cream and I was sooo sweet. Well, after SEVERAL months, my big human brother noticed that I was a BOY. I still have some personality hang ups from that! I always cross my front legs when I lay down and every body rags me about that. Atleast now they all try to call me Cookie Monster and they say Cookie in a gruff voice instead of a high twinkly voice!

Forums Motto:
I'm a BOY! Well, I think, maybe I am?

Cookie left us shortly after the new year and moved to a wooded area on our neighbor's land that constantly has a small band of feral cats living on it. My neighbor reported several Cookie sightings, but any time we went looking, we couldn't find him. After a few weeks of tom catting, the neighbor said he hadn't been seeing Cookie any more. He also said that a young female cat was missing from the group.
Could it be that this Fluffy and Cookie ran off to Vegas together? Does he think we wouldn't love him because of his new mate's wild past? Does he think we'd have issues with the age difference?
WE LOVE YOU COOKIE, know matter what! We would even accept that young bimbo, I mean girl friend of yours if you'd just come home!

The Cat Door

I LOVE our new cat door. I can go out all by myself. I then walk around the porch and front yard saying, "MEOW, MEOW, look at me! I can go out by myself!" I do that for about ten minutes and then I go in the cat door. I walk around inside the house for about ten minutes, saying, "MEOW, MEOW, look at me! I can come in by myself!" I can do this all day, back and forth, every ten minutes! Momma and Daddy think its cute during the day time, but not at night! This next part is just too painful for me to discuss, so I will let Mom finish this story!
Our new cat door can be fixed so that cats can come in and out; go out, but not come in; come in, but not go out; or it can be shut so that no one can come in or go out. The cats all figured out the cat door very quickly, the day we put it in. We had it fixed so that they could come and go as they pleased. However, that night, after Cookie had come and gone a few times - annoucing his presence each time - Daddy fixed the door so that cats could go out, but not come back in!
I leave the house each morning a 5:30 am, long before any one else is up. In the quiet of the morning, I heard the cat door rattle a few times. When I went out, I saw that Cookie was sitting there patting at the cat door, but it would not open. He seemed very ditermined as he patted and patted at that door. Well, I went on down the very tall front steps and headed to my car. Just before I got into the car, I saw Cookie run wide open down the steps! I turned to see what he was up to. He stopped at the bottom of the steps and stood very still. Then he crouched down. He sprang up and flew up the steps as fast as he could! He hit the cat door, head-on, with a loud THWACK!! He PLUNKED back down, very hard, onto his haunches! He sat there, shaking his head! He then looked all around the porch to see if any one was watching. Our porch is very tall and he did not see me down on the ground, looking at him. Cookie then trotted down the steps and off across the yard. I did not want to embarass him, so I did not laugh until I got into the car and closed the do0r. Then I laughed all the way to work!!
