he will come when whistled to, and will sit on command, for a treat of course! He also is highly skilled in kitty-acrobatics. He will jump very high and almost do back flips. In his spare time, he likes to build 'sandcastles' in his litter box.

Arrival Story:
The librarian at the school where I teach found him one day in her house...he came in through her cat's cat door and made himself at home. He was so friendly, she didn't want to take him to the pound, and I happened to be looking for a kitty to adopt, so she brought him to me...it was love at first 'meow'!
Bio:
Simon was an extremely affectionate cat with a wonderful personality. Sadly, he has made the trip to kitty heaven after having dealt with mast cell cancer. He was such a sweet heart, even to the end, and even though it was obvious he was in a lot of pain, he still remained so content and seemed happy. We will always love him and miss him terribly, but know he is in a much better place.

I have been neglecting my diary for far too long! I have to briefly tell you about my adventures today. Mom told me that I made her very happy, and I thought she deserved it! I'm usually dad's buddy--wherever he is, so am I, especially when it's nap time! I LOVE my mommy, but dad's just easier to nap with for some reason. But today I was in a different mood and wanted to cuddle up a bit, so I found mom napping on the couch and just decided to hop up and join her. Now usually if I do this, I hang around for about 10-15 minutes at the most and then I'M OUTTA THERE, but today I slept on mom's tummy and legs for over an HOUR! She was so happy and I was really comfy, because I hardly moved at all! The fact that mom got a new robe that's super soft and was wearing it at the time certianly didn't hurt anything at all! Dad said that was the only reason I wanted to be around mom, but that's not the whole truth!
