Arrival Story:
I was found in the street by a nice lady who took in stray animals from the street and took them to the vet to get their shots and spayed or neutered and then found homes for them. My mommy and her daughter, Melissa, were looking to adopt cats since the three cats they had previously passed away from old age. They found the nice lady's phone number - we forget how - and they told the lady they wanted to adopt two cats. The lady had arranged for my Mommy to take me since she always wanted a male orange tabby cat. She named me Buster because after one look at my adorable face she sensed I would be a ball-buster but she wanted to take me home anyhow. But boy, oh boy, I don't think she REALLY knew what she was getting herself into by adopting me! hee hee

Bio:
When I first arrived at my new home, I was sick - had an eye infection. I usually slept curled up into a little ball in the corner of the sofa for the most part. Once I finished my medication and felt better, the humans, Hercules and Aphrodite saw my bad boy side! I was no longer the sleeping cat, and I had to make up for lost time. Also, I made sure my presence was known in the apartment, and I made sure of it one time when Melissa's friend, Nathalia, came over to visit. They were both sitting on the sofa chatting, and I jumped up on the back of of the sofa and walked towards Nathalia. I went over to sniff Nathalia's hair and then I swatted her in the eye and bit her head AT THE SAME TIME. She wasn't hurt - maybe stung for a moment - but she never liked me afterwards. I don't think she ever forgave me either but hey, I just wanted to make sure she knew I was there. Although, I haven't fully reformed from being the bad boy of the house, I have calmed down and now greet people by sniffing their nose or mouth, whichever is more interesting. And I love laying in bed with Mommy. I like to rest my head on the pillows, too - they're pretty comfy. And don't tell anyone but I can be very affectionate - only when I'm in the mood, though.
