I turned "1 years old" today, and we're having a BIG Birthday Celebration...
This is how the day started---

I had a super breakfast and mama gave me a wet lavender cloth rub down with a brush to make me all cute and cuddlie. Mama gave Hendrix a special bath as well, because it's his birthday today, too...

Then mama took Hendrix for a car ride into town to our local pet bakery called the "Bone Appetit" to pick up our birthday cake. Then, they headed off to "Buckerfield's" to pick up our free birthday goodie gift baggies,-----filled with treats, cookies, mice and pet food coupons...

Mama and Hendix arrived home around 4:30 P.M. to start the "Big Celebration" with me and papa. We had a blast opening our presents. One after another. I think, I like the tissue paper more... I like sliding around in it.
Hendrix received tons of balls, toys and treats. I was very lucky this birthday!!! I got a black mouse, 2 caramel mice, striped mouse, vita gravy for my food, Temptation treats, and a cat video about birds. I just love that video. Mama and papa put it on for me and I sat watching it for 35 minutes. I could'nt take my eyes off it. Those birds are FAST!!! My nose was getting sore though, from hitting the TV screen. I'll know better next time. KEEP A DISTANCE!!!
Hendrix even enjoyed the movie,---- until the "BIG OLD ROBIN" came on the screen and then there was barking and jumpimg and barking and jumping..... going on. He's not too crazy about Robins!!!I think it's a puphood thing, myself???

We finished the party with some birthday cake,---shaped like a bone and filled with veggies & meat----topped off with cream cheese. Hendrix LOVED it, and I stuck my nose up at it... Remember, I'm a cat!!! I had a bowl of tuna instead and I LOVE that!!!

My 1st birthday was soooo much fun,----filled with love, mice, treats, meows, purrrrs, barks, rolls & jumps...
We all went to bed early tonight---even mama and papa.

GOOD NIGHT from the birthday house...

P.S. As mama tells us before we drift off to sleep,----make sure you chase the rabbits and the rabbits don't chase you...
