Arrival Story:
he and his brother had been dropped off in a box in front of someone's house. The lady put an ad in the paper. When I went to look at the kittens, he promptly crawled up onto my shoulder and under my hair and started purring. I was sold!
Bio:
When my daughter was born, I wanted to be sure that the cats would be okay with her. We brought her home from the hospital, and I let the cats sniff her all over. Max immediately laid down next to her and started purring. Later on, he started bringing her "gifts". Since it was February, he couldn't get outside to bring in moles (Thank God!!), so instead, he would drag my husband's smelly work clothes upstairs from the basement and leave them on her bedroom floor. He would drag anything he could up- socks, t-shirts and even jeans. How he got them up the stairs and through the hole we'd cut in the door, I'll never know.
