Long time guys!!!

Wow!!! Its been a while since I've written you guys. I've been real busy just being a kitty. Since I've gotten better, I've had more time to eat, play, take naps with my brothers, and just have fun in general. I feel sooooo much better now!!! Its hard to believe that I was once so sick!

I'm getting big too. I'm almost as big as Macavity. I don't think I'll ever get as big as Keo though. I wish I knew his secret. I'd love to be a giant cat!!!

I've been making friends with that Keagan dog too. At first he got mad if I tried to play with him when he ate (for some reason he didn't like me chewing on his tail) but yesterday mom gave him so leftover french fries and he let me eat them out of the bowl with him. He's pretty cool ... hes real big and fuzzy so he's like a big cat bed.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'll try to do a better job of keeping in touch. The life of a kitten is just so busy!!!

Whose a BIG boy now?

Guess what guys? I finished up on my shots!!! That means I don't have to get ANY more until next year! I am one big kitty ... the vet said I'm a "teenager" now (whatever that means) and mom looked at me real proud.

My mouth is also doing well for right now. Mom got this book about vitamins, herbs, massage, and nutrition for pets with health problems. They have a section in there about mouth problems and mom talked to the vet about it. The vet said that it wouldn't hurt to try some of the things in there, so last night, mom made me my very first all natural rinse for my mouth. Of course, I can't gargle it, so she just shot it up there with a syringe and let me make funny faces. It didn't taste too bad, but I'm not that into having stuff shot in my mouth. YUUUUUCK!!!

Anyways, all is well for now. I'm a trooper!!!

I'm the cats meow!!!

I'm a diary pick of the day again!!! Oh, I am so happy ... and I have a lot of people to thank. I'd like to thank dad for bringing me home, mom for helping me type out my diary, and the vet for making me feel so much better. Without you, I'd just be a regular ol' cat (and we all know I'm not). I'm a cool Catster cat!!! And so are all of you!!!

I'm glad that everyone likes reading my diary. I like reading all of yours too. Some are funny, some are sad, some have lots of good information, but they all make me feel warm and squishy inside because I have so many friends who want to share their lives with me. I'm so happy Catster is here so that we can all be friends!!!

Well, its still early, and I'm still a little bit tired, so I think I'll take a catnap in the window. Talk to all of you soon!

I got my results back!!!

I got my results back. I had no bacteria growing in my samples, no cancer, nothing bad. The vet is probably going to have to remove a spit gland in my mouth that's been damaged from the infection though. She said that if they don't, it might keep getting infected.

That's kind of scary, that I have to go through surgery again, but mom says I'll be just fine and that I'll feel 100% better. I'm glad I have mom. She makes me feel better and takes really good care of me. Keo and Macavity take real good care of me too.

Oh!!! I almost forgot!!! We got this puppy, Kizmet, and he's REALLY cool. He rolls the ball with me, and we snuggle. I like him a lot. He has these funny things on his ears though that make me laugh.

Well, I need to go get a snack.

I'm home!!!

Hi guys!!! I'm home!!! I had my surgury yesterday. The sucked all this stuff out of the cyst in my mouth and sent it off to be analyzed. Mom says we'll know all about it by next Wednesday. They also neutered me which is NOT cool. It makes Keo hiss at my butt. I don't know why.

I felt real good last night. I ran, and played, and jumped, and climbed the curtains. Mom says it was the medicine. This morning, I wasn't feeling so hot. I was real sleepy. Mom says the medicine wore off and I was just starting to get sore. Its not too bad though. I'll be fine.

I hope I didn't miss much while I was gone. It feels like I was gone forever, but mom says it was just a day.

I will let you guys know when I have my results back. I'm off to cat-nap.

Good News/Bad News

Well guys I have good news and bad news. I'll do the good news first.

Yesterday I was a Catster Diary Pick of the Day!!! WOOHOO!!! Go me!!! I'm glad Catster likes my diary. I really like writing it. It's cool to be able to talk to all these people from everywhere and tell them all about me and my life.

Now the bad news ...

After three steriod injections, two weeks of antibiotics, and several antihistamines, my mouth is not getting any better. I have a huge bubble/sore that hurts me and scares mom. Anyways, the vet is going to do surgury on me today to remove it and hopefully make my mouth heal faster. I'm kinda scared. Mom is real scared though. She says I'm so little and she is worried about the aneasthesia. I know I'll be fine, but I bet it won't be a whole lot of fun.

I have to go at 2:30 to get my operation, so I'll probably not be writing for a while since I'll be recovering. I'll let you guys know when I'm back, and I'll have mom fill you in on how things go.

Something I DO NOT suggest ...

Eating an entire pouch of powdered cat milk. Mom had a pouch in the cabinet. It smelled soooooooooooooooo good, so I jumped in there and ate it. ALL OF IT. Then I puked a lot of milk up. A LOT OF MILK.

Mom wasn't mad, but she said she's going to have to put baby locks on the cabinets. And my belly feels squishy.

Oooooohhhhhh ... I think I need to lay down.

Long time, no write ...

Its been a long time since I got to write anything, but we've been real busy.

As I'm sure some of you read, our dog Kaiser was stolen and run over by a car. It was really sad. I was just getting to like Kaiser. He would lick me and get my head all wet. Most of the time I didn't hiss or smack at him. Keo is real upset because they used to play with toys together. Mom is still sad too ... but I try to make her smile.

Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with a urinary track infection and a respiratory infection when I went to get my shots. I had to take YUCKY medicine for a whole week and stay in a room all by myself so I didn't get everyone else sick. I cried A LOT. Mom would comfort me and gave me lots of treats, but I missed everyone ... and snuggling.

On Monday, mom came home from work and my neck was all swollen!!! She said I looked like a sumo wrestler. Mom had just changed my cat food, so she was worried that I had food allergies. At first the vet said it was probobly a spider bite, but yesterday diagnosed me with eosinophilic plaque. Mom's really worried about me. My neck is much better, but mom's still worried. No one has ever heard of this eosino junk ... and she doesn't know if I need a second opinion or not.

Whatever it is ... it doesn't bother me!!! I'm running and playing and having a good time. If I could only figure out how to get up on that refrigerator with Keo, things would be perfect!!!

Home is where Capone is ...

Boy did I get scared this weekend. Mom and dad went camping ... and they didn't take me with them!!! I was home all by myself for four days!!! Okay -- not really. I had Keo there. And some girl that mom says is her sister-in-law came by everyday to play with us, feed us, and clean out the cat box. But I couldn't figure out why they left me! Finally they came home and I came screaming out from under the bed. I got lots of kisses and belly rubs too. I'm glad they're back.

Everyone is being really nice to me. Keo cleans me and plays with me sometimes. Dad and mom play with me lots ... I like to chase their feet under the covers.

Its time for a cat nap. I will write soon!!!

I'm home!!!

Hi everyone! My name is Capone and I'm new here. I just got to my forever home this weekend. My new dad found me in the middle of the road!!! Can you believe that??? I was just standing there looking kind of lost when this truck pulls up and this nice man got out. I meowed real pitiful like. He picked me up and it was all over.

Now I know you must be asking, why was I in the middle of the road? Well, I heard this voice, and it kept telling me to go to the road. I said, "No -- roads are scary". It said, "Don't worry, you will be safe". So I did, and this nice dad guy came along and took me back to where my mom and my new brother Keo live. Mom says that the voice was a kitten she had tried to save but couldn't. She says that it is "destiny" that I'm here with her. I don't know about all that, but I sure am glad that I found this place.

There is cat food out all the time (mixed with cat milk!!!), a fat brother to play with, mom and dad to snuggle with, and lots of cool stuff to do. Besides, I don't have to worry about getting hungry, or lost, or sick, or hurt anymore. I'm INSIDE!!!

I'm kinda sleepy now ... you know us kittens sleep a lot. I'll talk to all of you later. Thanks for listening to my story!!!
