Arrival Story:
Bounce got her name "because she did." My son saw her hit by a car on the road near the docks - we think she may have been a feral dockland cat - and saw her sail through the air and bounce across the road into the gutter. The car which hit her didn't stop, but my son did. He went to check, thinking she was dead, but she raised her head and hissed at him! So, he brought her home to Mum! Her pelvis was shattered and her tail broken, and she was bleeding from nose and ears - not good! Against all the odds, and after a lot of intensive veterinary care, cage rest and TLC, she recovered and became our cat - well, we'd paid all the bills! Her pelvis is (always will be) misshapen and she's definitely brain damaged - she has permanently unequal pupils - and her tail won't straighten but flops into a question mark, but she is otherwise completely healthy and a gentle and loveable cat. Her stay in the cage while she healed helped her get used to us and the dogs and once released from the cage, she hardly left the house, and never leaves the garden!
