Chasing my big brothers Tucker and Louie, the new puppy Harley!!!!
Getting my nails trimmed, being picked up
Do I really have to choose? Well...Mum's hand running under the covers is pretty great! But so is a fresh roll of toilet paper...hehehe
Favorite Nap Spot:

Nutro Dry Kitten Food
Penny has very strong paws that are able to curl around many things that the other cats can't grasp. She is also trained to inspect the bathtub after someone has had a shower to make sure that all is good.
We (Adam and Rachel) decided to adopt 'the little miss' because we were having such a great time with the boys. Rachel works from home, which means that if anyone gets into trouble she's usually right there. We wanted everyone to grow up together. One of Rachel's favorite kitties when she was out at the barn was a tortie named Emma; unfortunately Emma was hit by a car before Rachel got the chance to have a place of her own where Emma could come home (at the time she was still living with her parents). When we saw Miss Penny's picture on Petfinder, we just knew that she would be perfect. It only took a couple days, and everyone was friends. Now they all are commonly found playing, grooming and sleeping with each other. She was pretty timid with people at first, but the boys have really helped her to understand that we're not so bad. It may sound crazy, but it's a lot of fun!!
Ah, my little Penbotsticus...poor little girl has already been to the vet a little too often already. When I first saw her picture on Petfinder, I knew this the kitten for us. I anxiously waited for Debbie to call me back and let me know if she was still available. When we went to pick her up, it was pretty apparent that the poor little baby hadn't been handled very much; the woman who owned her mother (who was also up for adoption...you know, the 'new baby, no time for the cat' defense) had just left the cat and her three kittens in the basement alone for their first four weeks. Poor Penny sat their stiff and slightly shaking on my shoulder with that worried look (which we'd come to know very well) in her eye.
I knew we still had to take her. The boys would teach her that people are okay, and Adam and I are patient enough not to force her to cuddle, or even really spend all that much time with us. And it has taken time. Now, she'll let you approach her for some light cuddling and affection, and on some rare special occasions, she'll even come up and settle onto my lap, purring quietly while I rub her nose and looking up at me as if to say "Thank you for loving me and accepting me."
Now, about her being at the vet so much...well, Penny most likely has herpes, so every once in a while she'll have a flare-up where she gets really sleepy and wants to be alone. She sneezes a lot, even when not sick, but when she is it gets worse. Right now she's having a little flareup, but unless it gets really bad where she needs antibiotics, we're just going to let her rest and make sure she's eating and drinking. It's tough to see such a sweet little baby feel so low, but I would not trade my little Pen-Pen for the world.
UPDATE: Penny is now 6 months old and has not had a flare up in a couple of months. We're crossing our fingers that the coast is clear for a while...clear enough at least for her and her sister M.J. to go have their little operations...here's hoping!
