3 years ago today, I said goodbye to a very special girl. She was a gift in my life and there isnt a day that goes by when I dont think of her and wish she was with me still, wish she would of had a longer time knowing love and being spoilt. She had a higher calling and had too leave but I thank her for sharing her short time with me. With all her problems, she was a very happy girl who never complained and always purred, a purr I miss hearing.
I am posting a poem which is from Orange Ruffy and it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for taking the time to do this poem, its lovely.
The Island of Kisses
Once upon a Midnight Moon
Many worlds a way
There was an island of wonderous things
Where funny Persians Play
Because Persians are such funny cats
They're made of purrs not hisses
And this magical land was called
The Island of Kisses
And on this wonderous strange little place
A cat named Circle came
The pushed in nose and batty paws
Well, she was quite a dame
And Circles is a warrior lass
Not like other Misses
For Circles, ah, she caputed my heart
On the Island of Kisses
Circles was different from other cats
She had come through pain and fire
Maybe thats what made her so very special
For she never tired
Of being the Cat to welcome those
With purrs and grooms not hisses
Protecting all those little Persians and more
On the Island of Kisses
And some would say she was slumming
Taking up with a Rogue like me
But Circles she was extrodinary
She alone could see
That we're all feline born
With cat magick pure and true
And Circles took care of all the others
Because that's what true Queens do
But Circles she told me gently
This place was her Rainbow's End
That she would keep me in her heart
And always be my friend
But she had her mission,
Manycats needed her,
And she asked me to tell her mom
That it's for her she purrs
And Circles ah you're lovely,
I salute you with power of paw
And gaze out over the moon
At that distant star
And do I see a little boat
Filled with Persian wishes?
As they fish the Milky Way
On their way to the Island of Kisses.
