Arrival Story:
Please do not be put off by her photo, she is badly inbred and her nose is too flat and too close to her eyes causing her eyes and nose to run. She was brought into the cat rescue I help out at in january. She and 3 other persains had be severly neglected and kept in rabbit hutches. The vet had told the rescue to have her put to sleep due to her problems and the fact she was probably not able to be rehomed. I saw the love and life she has in her and will be rehomed with me in the next week or two.

Bio:
She is about 4 years old and is the size of a 6 month old kitten. She had spent most of her life in a small rabbit hutch and had been severly neglected. She had to have her fur shaved off becouse of the mess she was in and after 6 months it still hasnt grown back in places. She is badly inbred, her skull is a little deformed and she has had most of her teeth removed. Her claws had grown into her pads. She also has brain damage and walks around in circles ( hence the name which will be changed when I know more of her personality). The rescue center was told she got brain damage when she fell of a high shelf as a kitten. Apart from her problems she is very friendly, loving and purrs alot. She also likes to play. She can walk straight when she is concentrating on something. I now she has a lot to give and having read some great stories from other cat lovers and other vets she can have a happy life, which hopefully I can provide. She will be a wonderful addition to my feline family. If anyone reading this has had/have a cat with brain damage I would love to hear from you, any advice gratefully received. She really is a sweet and loving cat and is healthy in all other ways. Circles died on 8/9/2008. When I took circles on I knew I probably wouldnt have her for long but it was a chance i was prepared to take, she needed a break in life. There wasnt a day go by when she didnt purr, you only had to catch her eye and she would purr her heart out. She was never any trouble and she was never ill. She had the gentlest nature i have ever known a cat to have, never hissed or growled. She loved to play and loved to be fussed even more. On the day she died it was the first time i didnt hear her purr, she was telling me it was time.

Fur-ever Angel

Catster and myself are inspirations

Having been a angel for a while, I am getting the hang of how things work.
I watch over mom and the rest of the fur family, and from time to time give mom an inspirational prod.
Mom has been busy studying to become an Holistic Animal Healer, she loves crystals and the energies they give off and uses them at home and at the sanctuary she works at. For a few years now she has made crystal healing collar charms for cats and dogs, but recently myself and a few other Catster members have inspired her to design new collar charms. They will be called Fur-ever Angels Charms. They will come in a set, one for the animal which will be made from healing crystals of choice with a silver angel charm (on one side says 'made for an angel' ) and one for the animals guardian with matching crystals, silver angel wings and a little bell. Crystals are said to be natures healers and animals are supposed very receptive to there healing powers. When you hear the little bell ring it will remind you of your pet and through positive thinking of your pet can send positive healing thoughts to your pet. It is also a keepsake, constant reminder and a lovely connection with your animal when you are away or for when you have sadly lost your pet.
When one of our fur family has gone to the rainbow bridge we are given a rose quartz crystal to take with us and mom always wears a rose quartz cat pendant to help her to still feel close to us, its a very calming and loving crystal.

My special Girl is Cat of the Day

Mom was so surprised to hear I was cat of the day.
She didn't go on catster this morn, so when she popped over to see her mum (auntie mum as we call her), she was amazed to hear from auntie mum that I was cat of the day, mum had tears in her eyes and auntie mum was nearly off as well!!
Mum has always tried her best to highlight my story so that it might help other cats in the future and catster has been a great way to do that and make friends with some great cats and their guardians.
I would like to say that all cats, no matter how we turn out have so much to give and in such a short time, so treasure every moment you have together and always keep them in your heart as they will never be far away.

Catster competition finalist

Circles is one of the finalists in the catster competition.
I am over the moon and grateful to everyone who voted for her, I didn't expect her to get this far with so many other great entries.
I hope that her story touches the hearts of all who read her page and learns that cats like Circles can live very happy lives and they then pass the story on to others, so that maybe other cats like Circles or that are disabled in other ways will be saved and given the chance to know what love is and a safe, happy life, however short that life may be.
They deserve a chance to shine and have so much to give.
She gave back more to me than I could ever of imagined and touched my heart in a way I cant describe and she is missed everyday.
Id like to wish all the finalists in catster and dogster the best of luck and thank everyone who pops in and reads her story.
