Arrival Story:
My cat had just passed away, we went to our local shelter to adopt a new cat. I'd never had an orange and white cat so I asked to see him. He immediately started purring and kneading on my neck. He's been with us ever since.

Bio:
Sammy had a close call a while back as I was trying to foster a pit bull. The pit bull tried to run up to smell Sammy, but Sammy didn't think he was being friendly. Long story short, they ended up in a bloody mess. Sammy's front paws didn't have any claws left and the pit bull looked like he'd been put through a shredder. After a visit to the vet, Sammy checked out to be ok. His nails grew back and the pit bull was found a different foster home.
