Arrival Story:
My kitty momma was Chocolate Sealpoint and she was in heat while my human momma was out of town. These people watched my kitty momma while she was gone, got tired of her meowing and let her go out. She came back allll better. Few months later, we were born and I was the smallest. What is a runt anyway??

Bio:
I am mostly white with a yellow saddle/stripes and the typical Tabby face...just a hint of Siamese. On my back is a VERY distinguishable "T". When I was a kitten, I would tear around the house like the Tazmanian Devil on the cartoons so mommy said "Okay Tazz". That has been my name ever since.

Life and Times of Tazz the Wonder Kitty

Goodbye My Feline Friend

Today I had to put Tazz down.
Over 16 yrs old and a long life... I hope he was happy.
I know he made me very happy and I felt loved by him.

I can't express the sadness in my heart right now but I feel like this will hurt for a long time.

I appreciate Catster for everything.

There are pictures on here I posted years ago that would be lost had I not created an account here for him.

He will be missed so much.

My heart is breaking and will always have a kitty sized hole in it.

Goodbye my sweet boy!

I will love you, always!

Ode To My Cat

Hello again my feline friend.
Want me to scratch you there?
You lucky cat.
You warm my lap which you magically appeared on.
How do you do that?

I gaze down at you and you up to me with love in your eyes like that of God's.
Truly you are a piece of my heart.
Big baby blues peeking over the edge...
so intense
so serious.
Something's got your attention.
You hunter of things. I think it is a string.
It can be so intriguing to you as it slips quietly over the cushion of
the sofa and disappears behind.
You want to try once more?
Oh my! ... First go get that bug on the floor.

What time is it?
I know, as you look up at me once again to let me know your tummy is rumbling so.
Let's see, chicken?
No?
Liver?
Not tonight huh?
Well we also have turkey and giblets. Odd, that even sounds good to me.

Here you go... now eat slow.

Bath time I see. First your whiskers.
Long luxurious laps of the tongue as you lick your paw and wash your face.
Get those ears and that belly.
Soft sated purrs fill the air after your delicious supper and you curl up on the rug before the fire.

Time for bed, furry face. Tomorrow our day will begin again chasing butterflies and birds through the window pane.
Finding that splended spot of sunshine on the kitchen floor.

I nod off knowing you will be there at the foot of my bed as you always are, resting quietly

Sleep well my sweet kitty.

I love you.

Dear Diary,

My mommy found this poem and said it must have been written about me... Hmmm wonder what she means by that.

I’m Thankful for My Cat Because…

By Rusty Allred, Plano, TX

I’m thankful for my cat
because he is better than an alarm clock – more expensive and less accurate, but more persistent.
I’m thankful for my cat because someone in the house needs to be able to shed without thinning.
I'm thankful for my cat because he rubs his orange hair on my black pants, telling the world that some creature in my life loves me, or at least acts like it when he wants something.
I'm thankful for my cat because he ignores me when I speak, bringing a sense of consistency to my life.
I’m thankful for my cat because he takes naps for me when I don’t have time to take them myself.
I'm thankful for my cat because he watches the house while I’m away; if
someone breaks in, I'm sure he’ll watch that too.
I’m thankful for my cat because I’d feel awkward waiting in the vet’s office without him.
I’m thankful for my cat because, if he’s not my best friend, at least he’s not my
worst enemy.
I’m thankful for my cat because I don't have to walk him in the rain; and, when it’s nice out, he helps me remember what’s behind the rose bushes.
I’m thankful for my cat because of his advanced understanding of technology; he knows just where to stand to block the signal
from the remote control.
But most of all I'm thankful for my cat because, as you can see from all the above, I’d never get along without him.
