We had really bad flash flooding on Friday. Our driveway was like a raging river. Debris was everywhere - trees, wood, huge boulders... and the mud! There were mudslides and rock-slides. Almost all the roads were closed around here. It took dad over 3 hours to get home from work when it normally only takes him 20 minutes.

The worst part was that it knocked out our internet. I can't read my Catster mail! Luckily dad is a tech guy and he connected his cell phone to my laptop so I can type this update.

What a crazy storm!

My folks were stuck in that for hours too. It was unreal. Glad you are dry and safe!

We's had lots of rain earlier this summer but now it's furrry furrry HOT & not so much rain!! The rivers are going down here a bit so that is good for us. Sending Purrrs & prayers your way!!

Meow!!!! I hope you all stay safe. This year has been a year of extremes all around the world. NZ here we have had earthquake (they are still happening) flooding tornados (more expected and it is very unusual for use to get them at all) Lightning Down to ground level which is also not common, sever storm warnings. It's really weird this year.
