Arrival Story: The first memories I have are of an apartment near a lot of water (I heard someone say that we were in Long Island, NY but I don't know what that means). A human came one day (I was 8 weeks old at the time) and I sorta liked him. I decided to adopt him to do all my menial tasks, like prepare my food, clean my poop, etc. But the first thing this guy did was stick me into this little "carrier" - more like a cheap overnight bag. It took me all of 30 minutes to escape from it and start roaming around his car. He got mad. What's the big deal? Let me stuff YOU into a tiny blue suitcase and see how YOU like it!!!
I like my home. It has stairs and lots of stuff to climb on. I have my own personal bathroom. That is good because I like my privacy. My dad is nice to me. He buys me lots of toys and makes sure I have food and treats. I wish he was around more often to play with but he says he has to go to someplace called "work". I don't know what that is but it doesn't sound like too much fun. My dad and I are now bestest buddies and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
Bio: Aedan is from a litter of 5 kitties; all of them buff or orange in color. I will try to post more pics of Aedan but he NEVER STANDS STILL so it is hard to snap anything but an orange blur.

How I Got My Name: Dad saw me and thought I looked like an Aedan. Actually Aedan is Gaelic for "fiery". He thought that was a good name for an orange cat. But it really is more descriptive of my personality. I am very fiery. And dad says I have a bit of an anger management problem. Oh yeah??!!! Come over here and say that!!! Er I mean, what ever are you talking about?
Today is the 6th annifurrsary of the day dad adopted me. Or should I say we adopted each other! It was a day much like today; very sunny and cold. I thought, "this is awesome, I'm going to my furrever home!" I was ready to jump in the car for the ride home. But this dad character puts me in a carrier! Humph! I don't need to be imprisoned! I broke out halfway home and dad got a bit worried. But I was just showing my free spirit! And it was just the beginning...
Dad knows all too well of my feisty self now after 6 years. I have not slowed down one bit (although dad would like to maybe get ONE full night sleep after 6 years). And I do really love dad and he loves me. We are perfect together - best buddies 'till the end! Happy Annifurrary dad! May we have many many more!!!
Well it seems that all your purrs and prayers worked well. My auntie had her surgery and is now at home resting. She is in very good spirits and is feeling well. She will have to go through something dad called "key-moe" just as a precaution. But the doctors are very hopeful that they got all the cancer with the surgery!
Thank you all for your purrs and prayers. I mean that from the bottom of my furry orange heart.
