I'm A Tough Little Kitty!

Until we meet again...

Miss Floosie-doozey, Nels’ La-La-Paloozi,
We miss you so much, our sweet one!
It makes us so sad, but it still makes us glad
When we remember all the cute things you’ve done.

Mom misses you begging for food when she eats,
Dad misses your cute “Happy Foot”…
They miss their little Tortie retriever
And your purring when you’d sit in their seats.

Such a tough little kitty, it seem such a pity
That you couldn’t have stayed longer here…
You gave it your best shot right up to the end,
We’re glad we have pictures of our little friend.

You’re still in our hearts and always will be
You knew how we loved you, but now you’re set free
To run and to play with our other Bridge Angels
And wait for us there till we all meet again….

Rest in peace, our dear little Floosie!

MY HAPPIEST DAY!

I believe that the happiest day of my life was the day my handsome NELS and I found each other!!! He is my big, tough protector, and I'm his little sweetie! We complement each other so well! I would have never thought about finding a fur-mate! I was the last one of our 6 kitties to make that commitment. Then Nelson came along! That took care of THAT!! He's far away around the world, but we still get to see each other at parties. Maybe some day he can come visit me on the Angel Shuttle, like Sweet Gracie comes from Denmark to see Fancy Pants! I'm a happy girl now!

My recent history

I may only weigh 5 pounds soaking wet, and not be very big at all, but I can hold my own with the biggest of them! I'm a fiesty little girl! About 3 years ago I was having all sorts of problems...going outside the box...on the carpet...just about anywhere I stopped! My parents took me to a nice vet and he discovered I had bladder stones! Two of them! I had surgery and bounced right back, and took care of all my problems. Before that vet, the others always thought I had a bladder infection and gave me yukky antibiotics which just made me feel better for a few days or a week! Then after all that, about a year ago, another vet figured out that I had some other strange problem. I had to take antibiotics for 45 days straight! But it cleared up the problem and now I'm good as ever! I started my own little trick about 5 years ago with a little fuzzy ball that my parents brought. I'd bring it to them and just get so excited I couldn't stand it until they would pitch the ball. I'd run and fetch and bring it back and wait for them to do it again! I liked the game so much that they would have to hide the little ball when I got too tired! Then one day I decided I was tired of that trick, and now, no matter what they do, I just ignore the little fuzzy ball when they pitch it! It drives them crazy! I love sleeping on top of my mom's computer monitor! It's a perfect fit for me. I sometimes have trouble getting along with these other 6 cats (all of them much bigger than I am!), but if I make enough noise, my mom will make sure they leave me alone! It's kind of fun getting them in trouble!
