Arrival Story:
I finally got an apartment and wanted a black kitten. None of the places we called still had kittens available and one place sounded really sketchy. So the last place we called had 10mth old "kittens" and we went to go check them out. They had them all in a crate - 2 girls, 1 boy. They were all terrified and a young child was terrorizing them. They opened the crate and out flew the two girl kitties. One kitty remained, walked right up to me and put his butt in my face for me to scratch it. That would be Merlin.

Bio:
Merlin is a wonderful cat and is sometimes used as a therapy cat. He loves to go to new places and is never scared or uneasy about new situations. He is very smart and knows several tricks. He holds a very special place in my heart.

The new guy

Well well today mom brought home a puppy. A big, fat, furry border collie named Brodie. I guess I like him. I haven't shown any aggression towards him at all yet - even when he tackled me! I don't know how to play dog. But he seems nice enough. He ignores me for the most part, but still pays some attention to me. Mom keeps paying plenty of attention to me too so I'm happy! This whole dog thing is pretty cool. I've never lived with a dog before!
