Arrival Story:
Red was the longest resident at the local rescue, I got to know him when I helped out, everybody knew Red because of his very loud voice, he really did sound like a rusty, creaky gate hinge, red had been seeing the vet for several different health problems, No one wanted to adopt him as he was old and deaf so I said as soon as he has the all clear from the vet I would take him, by the time he got that all clear he had been at the rescue for over twelve months.
Bio:
Red came home in December 2003, he lived life at a very sedate pace, he was quite happy not to go out, I think he had had enough of the outdoor life while he was a stray. Red went to the bridge peacefully the afternoon of June 11th 2004. I do miss his voice at meal times. Bless you Redfer.
