Peachy was a stray that was thrown off at my moms house. She was orange, so I couldn't resist her. . She adopted me first though. I was planning on taking her with me when I got married, but she got pregnant before that time and gave me 3 wonderful babies, Marino, Peyton, and Sweetie. She is fantastic! However, she was quickly ready to transfer mothering duties to me.
Whatever was done to her prior to God sending her to me, wasn't good. She is still very skitish, even with me. If anyone approaches her she runs and hides for the day. She crawls in bed with me every night and sleeps right by my side. She will not let you brush her nor trim her nails. She knows I won't hurt her, but something from her past won't allow her to completely trust me. She has never liked my mom and runs everytime she sees her, even though we have both nursed her after she got bit by something and have rescued her from many fights when she was still outside. NOw she doesn't have to worry, she sleeps in my nice warm bed, with her momma and her babies.

I am Peachy and I was thrown out of a car at my momma's old house. My mom loved orange cats, so I got lucky. I adopted my mom right away and I tried to follow her everywhere. Everyday, when Mom came home, she said she had worried that I had got out in traffic or something. She said I couldn't go inside until she moved. One day, mom said I was gaining weight and that I was pregnant. Of course, I didn't know what that meant, but I soon found out. On August 15th, my stomach starting hurting very bad and I ran to get my momma. I cried and cried in her window unitl she came out and rubbed my belly. She tried to put me inside this box, but I didn't want to stay. I couldn't understand what to do with the box and I just wanted to go hide. I did too, right on the edge of this rock. I could see my mom standing above me, but I didn't know why. Pretty soon, this little white baby, with orange spots came out and soon two more. I was so scared, but I just layed there and took care of them a while. Soon, it started to storm and rain on us and my babies started crying. I ran to my mom's window, but she was already coming out the door and I cried loud. I needed her help cause I didn't know what to do and I knew she would. I watched my mom walk out in the rain and storm and she jumped in the middle of this bush that I had burried my babies behind and before I knew it she had grabbed them all in her hand. My momma wrapped my babies in a nice warm towel and I ran and jumped in my box. I knew then what she had meant when she tried to tell me to stay in that box. Momma dried my babies off and I stayed in that box with them all nice and warm. Pretty soon, I was tired of momma duty and I retired and handed that over to my momma. Now she feeds me and my babies and I never have to be out in the storm again and best of all, I don't have to have any more of these things!!!!! Although, I still love them all, I really adore my baby Peyton and I am very good to him. I keep him very clean.
