Arrival Story:
My friend Jamie and I got Lydia from a shelter in college- she fit in the palm of our hand she was sooo tiny. My moving to Minnesota after graduation almost broke my heart having to leave her behind and splitting up her and frankie! A year later, Jamie was moving to Cali, and asked if I could take her back, which I was very happy to do, although I knew that now Jamie's heart would be breaking.

On January 23rd, 2007 Lydia made her way to the rainbow bridge. It is far too early for me to add more right now, our family needs to grieve. We will post our good bye pictures in a few days. Thank you to everyone who has been a friend to us. Lydia is definately a "man's cat" and very much a little lap tease! My friend Ivan discovered she really enjoys having her "booters spanked." Lydia was one year old when we adopted Frankie, who came from the same shelter- and she was 7 when james came home ( she does not like james at all). She is now adjusting to veronica the dog, who seems to be a good safe warm spot to snuggle up next to. The girls gotta stick together is what I tell her...they seem to enjoy eating each others food and whenever james tries to "get in Lydia's business," Veronica comes to her rescue. It feels like a 20 lb bowling ball is dropped on your chest when she jumps on you to wake you up for breakfast!
