Jayda has been limping off and on for the past few weeks. The other day it was so bad that she had trouble lying down or getting up and her meow sounded like she was in pain. After taking her to the vet and getting blood tests & x-rays, it turns out she has calsification in both front leg joints. This apparently is very treatable- she has to get a shot every week for 4 weeks and then should be good as new. Left untreated, though, it could have turned into arthritis. All this to say that if any of yours cats show any of the signs Jayda did, this may be what's going on! Wish Jayda well =)

The dive-bombing robins were after me again today. They just hate when i try to climb the hedge to their nest! One of them chased me all the way to my patio door and flew right into it! Shortly thereafter I caught a chipmunk and deposited it at the front door. I hunt chipminks for sport - not for food. Any other catch I eat. Another exciting day outside! I'm so happy the weather is improving so I can stay outside all day long!
