Arrival Story:
There was an ad in the paper for free kittens. So I go to this house and there are like 150 cats just roaming aroung the yard. The lady says, "take any one you want!" I see this siamese cat with the most beautiful blue eyes and she has 3 kittens, 1 black, 1 white and 1 tabby. My husband says, "lets get the black one." I ask why. He says black cats are always nice. This leads to his theory that cat behavior is based on the color of the cat. Black cats are nice but sometimes standoffish, black and white cats are always mean, tabbys are always loving etc. I told him he's a cat racist. The black one was cute though and here she is twelve years later. Turns out that she's nice but sometimes standoffish. Who knew.

Bio:
Jazmine is the eternal kitten. She is almost 12 now and she still looks and acts like a kitten. Her meow sounds like a squeaking door...meeeeeek. She is easily pissed off. If we don't come to the door as soon as she meows...trouble. That cat can hold a grudge. When she gets really mad she pees on the furniture. We still like her though. She is very acrobatic. She can jump about 3 feet in the air to get her feather thing. She doesn't like catnip. She never uses her claws on people or dogs...only other cats. Ouch. She has a serious problem with static cling. If you pet her too long stuff sticks to her and it pisses her off, so she bites you. That's a real ouch. We really do like her.
