Well, I was napping on the bed, when I heard fluttering. My human had been painting some windows in the room where I was sleeping and had left a window open with the screens off. Fortunately for me, the window was next to the birdfeeder, and a very young house finch flew into my parlor. Like a bullet from a gun, I snatched that little morsel out of the air and then took it into my human's bedroom and let it go, where it made the most delightful quivering and fluttering noises. I sang my joy, and my human came in, let out a shriek, and then TOOK my prize away from me! Whatever possesed her of the nerve to do that?
