Cat of the Day!

I am catster's cat of the day today!!! How exciting. Catmom put us on here so many years ago, and then life got in the way, and we don't get to visit with our feline friends as often as we'd like. Now there is a 2 month old human at home and he smells funny, but i still try to sit on catmom's lap even when she is holding him.

So yesterday was the long awaited halloween party and i must say, it was wonderful! why so wonderful you may ask?? well, for starters there were many fun cats there and yummy sushi and catinis, and OH YEAH, irish PROPOSED! :-D i have the most handsome, the most poetic, the cleverest, most romantic cat in the world!! and his birthday is on halloween! but i think it was me who got the best present for his birthday! tee hee

Not left out anymore!

I was feeling a little left out because marvin got a rosette, but then a wonderful siamese kitty named Selket gave me one, too! Selket is an awesome girlfriend and i am so glad she is quickly becoming one of my bestest kitty friends! thanks, Selket, you are so sweet!


on another note, mommy was laughing at me today. Our carbon monoxide detector was beeping at us because it's battery was low. I always answer to whistling - the shriller, the better - so i started mewing back to the detector until mommy fixed it...i didn't see what the big deal was but she was doubled over laughing! i just don't get the humans sometimes.

Purrrrrrrrrr

Purr Purr MeOW! Rub, Rub, Purrr! mommy and daddy are home! they left us alone for the weekend and i have not had human contact for two days! TWO DAYS! I was about to go crazy...i need my daily pettings! So i have been extra attention hungry, and marvin has also been talking about as much as me! i don't know what has gotten into that crazy boy!

Shout outs to Selket and Jacques and Simon......you all rock! and Simon, yes i promise to take care of your mommy for you!

Pet me Pet me!

mommy's sister moved in with us yesterday for a few weeks and she is so fun because she doesn't ignore me! i like people who pay attention to me! I am Miss Priss, you must surrender to my kisses! hehe, i cuddled and slept with her last night, too! I love getting attention wherever i can get it! i might come off as a little pushy sometimes, but i swear i can be sweet! Still haven't quite gotten the hang of not using my claws when i want your attention, but i don't mean to hurt anyone. mommy says i am just absurdly adamant. i'm not sure what that means. must be a compliment!

I'm happy anywhere

I LOVE being at mommy's parents house. it's new and fun, and i just love people and i followed grammaw around all day and she called me her little shadow. I did accidently get behind the washer and dryer and there was no way out because I couldn't jump back up to where I came down from. Mommy and her sister had to push the washer over just enough for me to barely fit in between and come out. I learned my lesson, though, I'm not going back there again, I could have been crushed! Marvin has been a wuss. He won't come out and be social. He's played with me some, and we've chased each other a little, but he doesn't play for long. I don't know what his problem is. Oh well. I'm having fun!

I am trying to nap in my new box mommy made (you can see it in one of my pictures), but she wanted me to write my first entry. I do not like to go outside as much as my brothers, mostly I'd rather lay around the house or follow mommy for attention. The new box she made is sooo comfy, and she even put in a little catnip to make me like it better. We miss daddy a lot because he has had to move to Baltimore for his new job, and we cannot join him until mommy is finished with school. Mommy starts rotations for school next week, and we have to go live her parents for a while since she cannot be at the house all the time to take care of us. I like visiting grampaw and grammaw, so it should be fun. Especially since Marvin and I will get to go together. Peeps is going to daddy's parents to stay. I really like it here, but I think I will adjust well. Ok, mom, I wrote my entry, I'm going back to sleep....zzzzzz
