No need to be nervous anymore!

Whew!! i am so happy that little-lexi-love said yes to me! irish and i had plotted to ask our loves to marry us at the halloween bash. I sent lexi a rosette for her paw, and she said yes! i am so lucky! i was so nervous, but everything went great! yay for me! and yay for bocce and irish!

What a wonderful girlfriend!!

Ah, the weightlessness of love! i'm such a happy boy! my lexi-love and her family sent bocce and i the greatest goodie box ever! we got yummy treats and fun toys and PAWBREAKERS! we're so excited about those!! but the most special thing is the little ball with a red heart in it that lexi picked out especially for me!! *prances with head held high*

ok ok, so that is jacques's thing, but it seemed like a good title for my entry!! why you ask? because i am still high on love with my lexi-girl! it just makes me want to sing and dance and hum! speaking of dancing, she asked me to dance last night at ruben's fun party!! isn't she the sweetest? yes she is! so pretty, with such beautiful colors!! she's so little and cute and i just love to squeeze her close to me!

now speaking of love, bocce is in love now, too...a kitty named irish has stolen her heart, but irish, pal, you are making me look bad!!! you are so poetic and gentlemanly....i am not as eloquent with my lexi as you are with bocce, but i hope she still loves me anyway!! i am going to outside and play in the sun...bocce is starting to be a little annoying, she wants the catputer all to herself nowadays! hardly lets me on!! i'm sorry about that lexi-love....i'll wrastle it away from her as often as i can!!!

Better this time...

So mom brought us to Beckley to live with her parents for the next five weeks. I have been here for three days now and i am doing sooo much better than last time. Last time i would hardly come out from under the bed unless i had to eat, or when mommy got home from her rotation. now mommy is not here with us, so i have been following grandma around to see what all she is doing. Bocce and i decided to chase each other and show off for grandma and grandpa. they laughed at us! i miss my mom and i know she misses me cuddling with her at night, but i guess i will be fine here for a little while.

i'm in love!!! A BEAUTIFUL tortie named Lexington has stolen my heart! she's soo sweet and purrdy! I caught her a mouse yesterday and i brought it inside and then i let it loose. my auntie tried so hard to catch it and get it outside. She left the door open for it and thought it had gone outside because she and mommy never found it yesterday at all. but it didn't go outside and i found it again and i killed it dead and left it in the floor. mommy wasn't happy with me, but i don't understand why! she likes it when daddy brings her presents so i thought i should bring lexi presents! girls, sheesh...bocce couldn't even explain this one to me.

then on top of everything else, mommy gave me a bath! i saw bocce run past me all wet and before i could hide, mommy snatched me up for my turn! she says i have to be presentable to court lexi, but i am also going to live with my grandparents for several weeks on friday, so that was another reason for my bath. I really hate them because i have soooo much fur, but i hope lexi likes me clean! :-D Mommy will post wet cat pics soon....(how embarassing!)

I got a ROSETTE!

Yay! i got a rosette! A wonderful little tuxedo kitty named Ruben gave it to me! Mommy says he is very handsome, and to be honest, that kinda makes me a little jealous, but Ruben is one cool kitty, so i guess that's ok! mommy swears she loves me very much, but she keeps talking about how cute and fun Ruben is. i'm not insecure, i swear! but he must be pretty cool to give me a rosette!

the bug dance

ooo, the mighty hunter had fun in the yard this afternoon! i know someone in the forums said their mommy thought it was cute when they chased bugs, i don't remember who right off hand, but my mommy thinks i'm cute too. it does look like i'm chasing air, but i swear, i'm really just an attack king! there are all kinds of fun little things to chase! i ran in circles and jumped and leaped and pounced and had oh so much fun! i have lots of fluff on my sides that mommy calls my 'wings' and they make me look like i'm 'flying' when i run around all crazy!! too bad mommy made me come in for the night...those fireflies look fun, too!

oh my, oh my! mommy has let me get soooo behind! I finally did all right in Beckley at the grandparent's house, but I have been back in Morgantown with mommy and Bocce for 5 weeks now!! it has been so good to see daddy again on the weekends because i didn't see him for 4 weeks while i was in beckley!

as for the title of this entry, i have caught two 'voles' (little moles) and a bird just this past week! mommy is proud of my skills but wishes i wouldn't bring them in the house. but that is what she gets for having a kitty door. i wouldn't have gotten the bird if someone else hadn't of left the door open when mommy wasn't home...but oh well, mommy doesn't have to worry about that anymore! Beckley is fun, but I really like being back where i'm comfortable and can go outside more. mommy and daddy pulled out these big huge bushes that used to hide the front porch. i liked to hide in them, but now they are gone!! i'll have to find a new 'lurking' spot. mommy planted daisies because she loves them, but they are not as good to hide behind. stupid flowers.

Now that it has been a week, I have finally warmed up a little more. Grampaw has tried to get me to warm up to him especially. He tries to call me by 'kitty kitty kitty' but mom and dad never 'kitty-kittied' me, so I don't really know what he wants. I really like Azul, the cat that already lives there. He doesn't come inside very much. And when he does, he whines when he sees Bocce and me. He and Bocce hiss at each other a lot, but I would like to play with him. We'll sniff each other, and I always hunker down and submit to him, but he still whines. Mommy went to see daddy this weekend and left us behind. I think I will have fun, but I really like having mommy around, so I'll miss her.
