Magic (my rescue brother), Mommy and Daddy, food, tummy rubs, food, cleaning myself, food, the special window perch (see photo), plinky plonky music Grandma gave me, food, watching the birds go by, food (see a recurring theme here?)

Loud people, things that move too fast and scare me, fighting over Magic for the window seat (Mommy and Daddy need to buy another one), Being petted where I have just cleaned myself.

Favorite Toy:
My little yellow love bear, and the big red prawn on a string

Favorite Nap Spot:
In the window perch, with the window open and fresh air pouring in, or in the top bathroom cabinet drawer (Magic showed me how to open the cabinet door up and hop in!)

Favorite Food:
Pastrami, french fries (really), curry (the hotter the better), chilli that daddy makes, turkey, cheese.....what don't I eat? Oh yeah, normal cat food too.

Looking cute, opening the bathroom cabinet door, waking Magic up out of a sound sleep when I want to play, and getting all the love I can by looking especially fetching!

Arrival Story:
I am actually a British Domestic Shorthair. Magic and I were rescued from an abusive home near our home in England (Mommy is American, Daddy is English). Mommy and Daddy rescued both myself and my brother Magic (they wouldn't dream of splitting us up) in 1998 and since then we have been living the dream life! We are spoiled rotten. We recently made the trip overseas to join Mommy and Daddy in Virginia in April of 2005. We were very scared but the people were very nice and now we are here and we are so happy! Plus we are little Studkitties with our English accents! It drives the lady cats wild! Thank goodness I had the snip!

I have problems with urinary crystals as I tend to get a little nervous but Mommy and Daddy keep me on special food which seems to take care of it. The food is yummy too - although I eat almost everything! Magic and I also had a rabbit brother named Oscar - he was all ready to come to the States with us but he passed onto the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly. Mommy and Daddy and Magic and I miss him terribly, but we know he is still with us always in our hearts. We think he is playing poker in the Rainbow Bridge with Mootsie (mommy's first kitty ever), Tuxedo (meow), Millie (Grandma's kitty recently crossed over). All we can say is, they must be a handful!

Note to M&D, the opening of the refridgerator has a toll involved. The door is only allowed to be open by you under following circumstances

1) Some Turkey, Ham or Beef finds its way into my belly
2) In extreme emergency, Cheese may be a substitute.

I noticed the other day I WAS EVEN IN THE KITCHEN AND YOU DID NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES!!!! I will assume this time was an oversight and therefore please class this as an official warning.

Having to tell Mum and Dad off is s tiring, time for a nap. But maybe a snack first.

So had the usual stresses and strains of life lately, i.e. where to sleep, makes me hungry so I have to have the odd snack to prepare myself. Had a strange man visiting every day for a couple of weeks, made sure I kept out of his way by jumping in the bathroom drawer. Still, after he went there seemed to be food around and the box was clean, so I was happy. All of a sudden Mummy and Daddy come through the door and are like, all over me, couldn't work out why. Come to think of it, I hadn't seen them for a while. They kept going on about vacation, their life is one big vacation!!! Come to think of it again, I had been missing my belly being rubbed, so they must have been away. It is good to have them back.

Decisions, Decisions

Had a tough time today, no matter how hard I tried I could not decide if I wanted to lay on the window perch or the bed. After some food decided to lay on the ground and think about it. Think I may have dozed a little, tired out after having to do all that thinking, so I went and had a snack and then tried both places out. Decided in the end to go for a snack before settling on the bed.
