Arrival Story:
Her mother Annabelle was a pregnant stray who wandered up and took up residence with us. We said we'd find homes for all the kittens, but this one ended up winning our hearts, so we found her a forever home...ours. Cary is named after my mother-in-law, Carolyn, who has platinum hair and blue eyes, and the spelling comes from a movie star favorite, Cary Grant.
Bio:
She is such a sweet girl. When Cary was just a week old, she responded to my voice, and would raise her head to greet me. She was 1st to explore outside the confines of the cat bed, and didn't cry when held. Early on, I was pretty sure I would lobby hard to keep her. It wasn't as hard to convince my husband as I thought it would be (he's really a pussy cat himself). We love her already and can't imagine how much that love will grow over the years.
Update: Cary has matured into a beautiful cat. She is a little shy, but loving. Her favorite fur-sibling is Riley. He took care of her as a baby, and she never forgot that. She will plop down beside him, and throw her tail around him, right in his face, like a boa. He never seems to mind. :)
She is still our little snow princess.
