Thank you for your continued purrs and gifts for Maizie.
Maizie still has a fever and she is still being syringe fed. Mom did see her have a little drink of water and use the litter tray so we hope the medication is beginning to kick in. Mom was up and down checking on Maizie all night and she had to go to work this morning, so she is pretty tired, but Maizie is her main concern and we are all very worried.
On a sad note, when mom came home froom work, she fed us and Maizie and then went to clean out and feed the rabbits only to find that one of them had died during the morning, we dont know why, Bramble has shown no signs of illness, her sister Bracken is very quiet so is gettiing extra fuss and a little extra carrot. Hopefully we will be able to bond her to another little bunny we have called Sky.
Thank you again for the purrs.
More Cat Trivia
Scientific studies have compared and examined both a cat's brain and a dog's brain. The results established that the cat's brain is more similar to a humans than that of a dog.
Almost 10% of a cat's bones is in its tail. The cat's body contains 245 bones, but as they age some of the bones fuse together and the number of bones decreases.
Cats have only thirty teeth. Kittens have baby teeth which are replaced by permanent fangs at around seven months of age.
Cats wag their tails when it is in a stage of conflict. The cat wants to do two things at once, but each impulse blocks the other. For example: If your cat is in the doorway wanting to go outside, and you open the door to find it raining, the cat's tail will wag because of internal conflict. The cat wants to go outside, but doesn't want to go into the rain. Once the cat makes a decision and either returns to the house or leaves into the rain, the tail will immediately stop wagging.
If your cat is near you, and her tail is quivering, this is the greatest expression of love your cat can give you. If her tail starts thrashing, her mood has changed and it's time to distance yourself from her.
The domestic cat is the only species able to hold its tail vertically while walking. Wild cats hold their tail horizontally, or tucked between their legs while walking.
There are more than 500 million domestic cats in the world, with 33 different breeds.

When it rains, it pours. So sorry to hear about the bunny. It sounds like Maizie is doing a little better, though. Thank catness. Your poor Mommy.
Sending lots more purrs & huggies & healing angel dust.
It's really sad. sissy once bought two rabbits and one of them got Diarrhea. so Baba did the same thing that Meowmy did with New! while she was having her afternoon nap he gave them to our driver. and our driver-the mean spirited guy- simply dumped them in the garbage!!! sissy cried so much for TAYLENA(Taylor+Selena)!!! but she was told that the driver has given them to adoption!
Sissy, Milapu and Meowmy were living for Barisal(our cuzes place) that day. it's a whole 7 hours journey from Dhaka. so we normally use car/launch/bus to go there. fastest and most comfortable way to go there(in 5 hours)is by Launch. so while they were going to the shipyard our driver totally mocked and said that what he really did with the rabbits although he could clearly see that sissy was crying and how sad she was!!!! sissy cried and cried for the next 2 days without a stop!! since then she hates our driver and she never bought anymore rabbits as they dies really soon! I'm just relieved that Meowmy, Baba and our mean-spirited driver would never abandon ME as they loves me too much to do that!!
Sorry to hear about Bramble. And sending Maizie purrs.
We've been out of the loop and are just catching up. So sorry about Maizie's illness, and purring that it will clear up soon. Also, that's sad about Bramble; I'm sure Bracken is missing her sister.
