Mom was up early for work today, I wanted to go out but mom said no as she was getting ready to leave. So it was birdwatching and snoozing for us until mom got home.
We were all waiting at the front door when mom came home, she said she cant understand how we know she was coming home. We have our ways of knowing!
We had our tea as we were all hungry and then mom let us out, and guess what????The sun was out, yay. I picked my favourite plant pot and had a good wash and snooze in the warm sun. I prefer it to be a little warmer but this was better than nothing.
Ollie hasnt been well today, hes very snotty (he has a respiratory condition), much more than normal, he had been sick and was very down in himself. Mom cleaned him up and made him a cosy bed and he has been sleeping ever since. He hasnt even been downstairs when he heard food being dished up and Ollie loves his food. Mom has been checking on him and he is now a little brighter and sleeping more soundly so paws crossed he will be better tomorrow.
I have tried leaving my ouchie alone, mom caught me licking it a couple of times and I have been repeating the mantra that Samhain sugested ' OM CATNIP...OM CATNIP...', seem to be helping.
In the beginning, there was the heaven and the earth, and a cold breeze was blowing. This sucked, and the Lord was displeased. And the Lord said, "Let there be kitties!" and there were kitties, with whiskers and fuzzy ears, who twitched their tail-tips adorably, and it was good.
But the Lord wanted more. So the Lord said, "Let there be stripes!" and most of the kitties received this blessing, and showed off their precious, adorably cuddly tabby coats. And this was good.
So the kitties romped and played, but they became hungry, and asked the Lord for help. So the Lord said, "Let there be all manner of creatures from which the kitties can feed from!" And there were, and a wide variety of animals came into existence, whom the kitties hunted and played with. And this was good.
But the kitties were still bored. So The Lord said, "Let there be humans!" and the humans came into existence, to forever be slaves of the adorable whiskered kitties and entertain them until the end of time. And it was good. The Lord was happy, so he retired and went to Florida.
