A little sunshine!

This morning didnt look to good, it was cloudy and cold again but this afternoon the sun came out and the wind dropped, so it was all out to the garden to make the most of the sunbeams. Yay. A little sun shone in our part of the world, warming our hearts and souls, not to mention our bellies!!! Ziggy kept catching flies and running around with them still buzzing in his mouth. Some cats are weird, MOL.
Mom has just noticed that my ochie is 3 times bigger than what it was. I have just had a load of cream plastered on it as its quite sore and weepy. I dont know what has made me make it so sore.
Oh, well, I supposed the Catfather could come down over and sit on me, that will stop me from getting at it.

Cat game no.16

For whatever reason, sometimes your humans will put a large piece of cloth, usually white, on their dining table. If you are a dark-haired cat, this means you are obliged to try to deposit as much of your hair on it as possible. If you are present while they are putting the table cloth on, leap up and snag an edge with your paw as the humans are trying to adjust it and try to pull it to the floor. You will be immediately shooed away, of course.

Once the humans have set all the stuff on the table, do this again. You will get lots of toys as well as plenty of nesting material; but it's impossible to do this silently, and you will get forcibly ejected and barred from the dining room. If you wish to be more subtle, hop on the table and begin shedding activities such as scratching, grooming, or sprawling. See how much hair you can deposit before the humans notice and throw you out. The more Cats there are, the more variety of color you can add to the table cloth!

If the table cloth reaches nearly to the floor, you have an instant fort. Lurk underneath it until a human passes by. Then leap out and grab an ankle! Run back under the table where they can't get you. Be prepared to be flushed out by a squirt bottle.

Mom has to work tomorrow so she wont be around to keep an eye on me, I could be bald by the time she gets home from work.

Sorry to hear about the ouchie, Simba! You don't wanna be wearing one of those silly e-collars, so you'd better stop scratching and biting yourself so much. You need a mantra - you know, for those times of stress. What could it be? OM MANI CATNIP HUM... OM MANI CATNIP HUM... No, wait - that's a little too sacrilegious, my Mama says. Maybe just OM CATNIP...OM CATNIP...
