Leave a treat for Nike

Special Gift Box:

Nicknames: Nike-nike, Sneaker Twin, Sneaker Boy, Shoe Kid

I'm In The:
Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Classic

Likes: Jumping onto high places and climbing over everything. We have one small fleece bumper style bed that he loves to suck on

Pet-Peeves: He doesn't like to be carried much but likes being petted

Favorite Toy: Loves kitty balls, soft furry toys, laser light

Favorite Nap Spot: Lately, he's been literally piling himself on top of the other kitties for a nap, and it isn't because there aren't tons of other places for him to sleep. He just wants to be close to them even if they aren't too happy to have him on top of them!

Favorite Food: Canned cat food, cat milk, chicken, treats

Skills: Very quick at running off with things in his mouth like dinner rolls!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 27th, 2005, my husband rescued Reebok and Nike from where he works. They had a little sister and were living in a storage area where some guys were feeding them. Their sister was taken home and named Seagate. The guys told my husband about the boys so he went to look at them. He called and talked to me about fostering them and then turning them over to Safe Haven rescue to help them find their permanent homes. They were picked up by hand, put in a box, and off they went to our house! We made a vet appointment for that afternoon and the results were all good! I gave the boys a nice little bath together in the bathroom sink, treated them with Revolution, and saw just how beautiful they really were! Then we set up the guest bedroom for the little guys to let them get comfortable in their new surroundings.

Bio: Needless to say, these guys found their permanent homes...with us! Nike seems to get into things more than Reebok does. He's always walking on top of the stove, the fridge, the bookcase, etc., and one of the first to crawl into an empty bag or jump into an empty box. He has really grown to love our dog Quincy. When Quincy is standing up, Nike will talk to him while rubbing up against him.

Forums Motto: Just do it!

We created our own thunder last night, inside the house! I confess that I'm usually the one tackling Reebok but for some reason he got in one of his moods last night and nailed me! I started screaming and ran around the house with him chasing me. Being the heavyweights we are, we sounded like more than two cats!
Quincy came to see what was going on and I ran to him for comfort. When he started to walk away I followed him, complaining all the way, but he's such a terrible listener!

Oh brother! Reebok tells the whole world about our poops and pees and he gets chosen as Diary of the Day today. My litter mountains aren't that big, and you don't hear me singing a song about them either!
Even when we were little, Reebok was a talker. He still loves to have conversations with Mom and Dad but he never talks to any of us. That's because we don't feed him and give him treats!
I like hanging out with Reebok, and especially like to tackle him even when he's not in the mood, but he sure does like to exaggerate!
Love,

I guess I didn't win the contest that I entered wearing my Pumpkin costume because I never heard anything.
Was it my height? My weight? My fur? My smile? No, it was because it was a drawing, so I guess nobody drew my entry!
I had plans for that $200. Maybe I'll go check out Dad's wallet instead.
Love,
Nike
