Leave a treat for Nike

Nicknames: Nike-nike, Sneaker Twin, Sneaker Boy, Shoe Kid

Quick Bio:
 Gotcha Date: April 27th 2005
 Birthday: February 23rd 2005
 Coloration: Classic

Likes: Jumping onto high places and climbing over everything. We have one small fleece bumper style bed that he loves to suck on

Pet-Peeves: He doesn't like to be carried much but likes being petted

Favorite Toy: Loves kitty balls, soft furry toys, laser light

Favorite Nap Spot: Lately, he's been literally piling himself on top of the other kitties for a nap, and it isn't because there aren't tons of other places for him to sleep. He just wants to be close to them even if they aren't too happy to have him on top of them!

Favorite Food: Canned cat food, cat milk, chicken, treats

Skills: Very quick at running off with things in his mouth like dinner rolls!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 27th, 2005, my husband rescued Reebok and Nike from where he works. They had a little sister and were living in a storage area where some guys were feeding them. Their sister was taken home and named Seagate. The guys told my husband about the boys so he went to look at them. He called and talked to me about fostering them and then turning them over to Safe Haven rescue to help them find their permanent homes. They were picked up by hand, put in a box, and off they went to our house! We made a vet appointment for that afternoon and the results were all good! I gave the boys a nice little bath together in the bathroom sink, treated them with Revolution, and saw just how beautiful they really were! Then we set up the guest bedroom for the little guys to let them get comfortable in their new surroundings.

Bio: Needless to say, these guys found their permanent homes...with us! Nike seems to get into things more than Reebok does. He's always walking on top of the stove, the fridge, the bookcase, etc., and one of the first to crawl into an empty bag or jump into an empty box. He has really grown to love our dog Quincy. When Quincy is standing up, Nike will talk to him while rubbing up against him.

Lives Remaining: 9 of 9

Looks like Huey and the girl-cats have new photos and pages for autumn. If the hat we ordered from Canada ever arrives, the boy-cats will have new photos too.
Mom was mumbling to Dad that it's okay if the boys are late, since people can still eat raisins in autumn. Dad mumbled back in agreement, saying that raisins store well. MOL!
Hope they aren't thinking about putting us in the cupboard and eating us later.....
Love, Nike

I just added a new picture to my page and noticed there's a new feature now in our Photo Manager where you can do some photo editing and decorate your photos, along with a demo video.
I guess I'm way behind and missed the announcement!

Huey is sleeping, finally, so now I can write in my diary to say THANK YOU you for the comments, gifts, and pawmails!
We're having pretty good weather so it's always nice to find those sunspots in the house during the day.
Mom promises that Huey will mature and learn to have quieter conversations with me. I'm a boy so I can understand what it's like to have raging hormones, but honestly, does he have to do those unmentionable things to his dolphin pillow pal?
Well, time to go upstairs to have a snack before the dood wakes up!
Thanks again!
Love,
Nike
