Arrival Story:
Spencer was a very sick little kitten and was brought to the vet to be put to sleep. The vet, however, couldn't bring herself to do it, and instead devoted a year to treating and raising Spencer until he was ready for a home. We weren't looking for another cat, but he was so calm and sweet, and with a face like that, we couldn't resist. He now has an international fan club, so apparently we're not the only ones who can't resist him.

Bio:
Spencer is ten years old. He has two feline sisters, Arabella and Taffy (who passed on in 2003). He also has a girlfriend named Amaya, a white, mismatched-eyed polydactyl DSH who lives in Miami.

It's getting hot in here...

This summer has not been very productive for me. These humans are useless. I spend most of the day dreamwalking and getting some good beauty sleep, and you would think that they would be grateful for this and offer to take me out for more walks. They are so selfish - the public is being deprived of beautiful, wonderful me! I make people happy just by being outside! And all my humans care about is the heat. Or, and you have to say this with the proper nasal simper to it, the *humidity.*
Stupid humans. I lick my butt in their direction.

Greetings

I shall introduce myself now, as my human companion says that that is what one does in these things. Very well.
I am Spencer. You may call me Spencer. I am a handsome red Persian. Not to brag, but I am very close to the breed ideal. However, I was seriously ill as a kitten, and as such could never make it in show business.
I live in the West Village of Manhattan, which I explore whenever my human companion will deign to escort me outside. I do not need her, of course, but she does so enjoy the attention I bring. Yes, I walk on a leash. My human is frequently asked if I am a cat. I understand that you are probably human, so please take no offense when I say that humans are rather dense. Humans are rather dense. I share space with three humans, one corporeal cat - a dunce named Arabella - and two spirit cats. I am the King.
I think I've written enough for now. I have some napping that must be taken care of, among other things.
