Arrival Story:
Zorra came into the vet on a Sunday evening as an orphaned stray who hadn't eaten in a week or two. She was so precious, we really tried to save her... I brought her home and kept her warm and fed her for three days, but she kept losing weight instead of gaining. I took her back to the vet on Wednesday (the only day I ever heard her purr or mew), they placed a catheter in her femur to administer fluids, and she died that evening... We were honored to have given her three final days of love and attention, instead of lonely rain and cold... Love you, Kitten!
